There are a lot more CPU miners on NewEnglandcoin  than months ago when I first posted on altcoin mining thread.  At that point, my old linux PC can mine 1.5 million NENG per day on Cheetah.
Now the reward is much less, maybe 1/5 of what used to be.  Still CPU mining can be fun and less demanding if you only do it casually on your own PC when you work or read online. It can be on low resource without affecting other activities.  It adds a reward on Desktop PC or laptop.  Running a full node,  mining 300,000 NENG per day on a PC is still quite impressive rewarding CPU mining experience.

GPU solo miners and small ASIC solo miners probably are the dominant force on DynDiff Scrypt coin NENG mining together with CPU miners.  Big ASIC miners are disadvantaged by the new algorithm hard fork upgrade recently.

Yes, you need to download the binary wallet files from github release link. the wallet on Mac/Windows/Linux are all full node wallet.

The syncing is very fast, could be done in a couple of hours.   

CPU mining is all on the full node wallet.  The mined coins from Cheetah will show up in the wallet accordingly.

Update on Mar 17, 2019:  Large NENG buying at ShorelineCrypto Exchange on March 14 was related to FCK listing at ShorelineCrypto as disclosure.  ShorelineCrypto new coin listing fee was cut dramatically recently to 0.01 BTC.  There is 50% listing fee discount if the coin listing fee is paid exclusively on NewEnglandcoin (NENG).  FCK fee payment event happened on March 14, 2019.

We expect that NewEnglandcoin (NENG) demand will rise in the future if more coins are listed at ShorelineCrypto Exchange.  It will be beneficial if all NENG members spread the word of ShorelineCrypto exchange to attract more listings.  The details of new coin listing is at:

Report from ShorelineCrypto Exchange on large NENG deposit issue that couple of members encountered over past several days:

On the issue [user] encountered multiple times on deposit of NENG (at shorelinecrypto), we have new findings that there is sending amount limit on NENG itself that caused issue. .  

We tried ourselves on multiple deposits. Actually the exchange software works fine on small amount. The problems come when the multiple deposits are large close to 100 million NENG.  When that happens, either try one at a time a smaller deposit to avoid big deposit, or just send a support ticket and we can do on manual way for you.

For now, this is NENG software bug issue unresolved and simply let members be aware of it in handling exchange deposit and withdraw.  Eventually this will be fixed in the NENG core software itself.    

Update: the safe amount to avoid deposit being stuck is 50 million NENG or less one at a time.  When doing multiple deposit continuously, make sure to stop and wait when the accumulative multiple deposit size is close to 50 million NENG.
