I dont know why my linux wallet wouldnt update i went 12 full rounds and it got stuck on that block each time. Before i went to bed i downloaded the windows wallet and let it update and it was fully updated overnight.   put the dat in from the linux box and its working good now.

Good to know that you got it fixed.  Yes, Linux and windows wallet files are interchangeable.  They can be copied back and forth. 

The mac wallet folders are not compatible with window/linux, and usually needs a bootstrap to get the blockchain.  backed up wallet files are interchangeable on mac/windows/linux though.

Plan to mine this coin but I'm not comfortable with this exchange.
With 3 users online upon checking, I highly doubt you can get a good deal of your coin.

As far as I know, the only working exchange is ShorelineCrypto Exchange on this coin.

The current total market cap of NENG is less than 1 BTC, a fraction of a BTC.  A listing fee of 15 BTC can buy more than 20 kinds of coin like NENG.

The low price upside is that very few are under the water on NENG because the initial starting price is really low.

I agree with you that real need on this coin is decent size of community.

base difficulty was up above 1 for several days. Now it is back to very low level again.  This should be time for boom for GPU solo miners.

Just a clarification of mining pool.

Because NENG algorithm is backward compatible with scrypt algorithm, mining pool on scrypt works fine.  therefore we list mining pool here in ann page. However,  
GPU/ASIC mining on NENG works better on solo mining, this has not been changed.  There is some learning curve and difficulty in setting up solo mining, plus added responsibility
of maintaining a full node running solo mining on ASIC/GPU.  Therefore, public mining pool does provide a useful service. Hence, mining pools are going to be listed in ANN here.

Solo mining through dedicated "cheetah_cpuminer" is still recommended for any CPU miners in desktop/laptop Windows, Linux, Mac computers.   Do not mine your desktop computer through mining pools on CPUs.
