Supports Windows and Linux. Supports windows driver and Linux AMDGPU Pro driver. Supports most cards. Comes with pre-built binary kernels to speed up Ellesmere and Vega cards.

https://github.com/fancyIX/sgminer-phi2-branch/releases

Estimated speed (beta5f):
phi2,     rx 580: 3750khs; vega 56: 6750khs
lyra2Z,  rx 580: 1950khs; vega 56: 3600khs
allium,   rx 580: 4500khs, vega 56: 8200khs
x22i,     rx 580: 4600khs, vega 56: 6900khs

I know that's far below the speed of tdxminer or teamredminer. Hope one day it can catch up.

Thanks for sharing your miner on SUQA's ANN, by the way im using it now, my problem is the latest version of afterburner only support 8cards, so i have no option to set up my fan speed and also the power.. The old SGminer has the capacity to adjust the fan, power and also the mem core of the card, My question is, is this miner is capable of doing that in the config .bat file?

Monitoring and controlling GPU requires ADL library linked in sgminer. This build of sgminer release doesn't have ADL, so cannot adjusting fans. You can try build it from source code with ADL. I will add ADL to the release file once I have time.

Miner 5.6.1.3.b5f driver Adrenalin 18.6.1 RX 470 4GB 1100/1900
x22i 3.1 Mhs
phi2 2.6 Mhs (no change)
lyra2Z 1.4 Mhs (no change)
allium 3.0 Mhs (no change)
lyra2rev2 22.7 Mhs
P.S. On the x22i algorithm on the same cards (in the same settings) WildRig Multi 0.12.7 gives 3.3 Mhs. Excellent result !!!

Sigh, still slower than wildrig. Will update the miner later once I have more ideas on how to improve it.

r9 280x 15 mhs on lyra2rev2. If only this miner had been released when this algo wasn't asic ridden  Undecided

I started working on this miner about 2 months ago. Before that I know nothing about miners.
Anyway, the opencl code for lyra2rev2 is copied from lyclminer.

Word. Problem is pretty soon everyone is using it and 4x becomes 1x real quick.

Unless you keep it secret, which is the name of the game mostly with these things. Sadly even in the work of open source, cash still rules everything around me. I get it that code does not develop itself. But we have had some bad actors for sure. Not sure I want or need improvements in these algos. Obviously if others use them so must I. Yet I would rather we all stay on the same field as idealistic as that is.

I actually didn't mean that OP secretly mined with it  Tongue . Should've used "made" instead of "released". My bad.

https://github.com/fancyIX/sgminer-phi2-branch/releases/tag/5.6.1.3.b4b

Estimated speed:
phi2, rx 580: 1800khs; vega 56: 3300khs
lyra2Z, rx 580: 830khs; vega 56: 1620khs

Beta5 release, about 30% faster
https://github.com/fancyIX/sgminer-phi2-branch/releases/tag/5.6.1.3.b5

Beta5b release:
https://github.com/fancyIX/sgminer-phi2-branch/releases/tag/5.6.1.3.b5b
Speed compare of release (beta5b) than previous release (beta5): 580 +25%, Vega56 +35% for phi2, and 580 -15%, Vega56 +35% for lyra2Z .

Beta5c release, added allium support. Others are the same as beta5b.
https://github.com/fancyIX/sgminer-phi2-branch/releases/tag/5.6.1.3.b5c

Beta5d release, much faster than beta5c, especially for 580.
https://github.com/fancyIX/sgminer-phi2-branch/releases/tag/5.6.1.3.b5d

Beta 5e release, now support x22i. Others keep the same as beta5d:
https://github.com/fancyIX/sgminer-phi2-branch/releases
Will improve the performance further.

Beta5f release. x22i over 25% faster than beta5e, lyra2rev2 over 4x faster.
https://github.com/fancyIX/sgminer-phi2-branch/releases

Beta5f+ release, for x22i, 580 5% faster, Vega56 15% faster. ADL added so that you can monitor your GPU. https://github.com/fancyIX/sgminer-phi2-branch/releases

My RX470 (1100/1900 driver Adrenalin 18.6.1) on the 5.6.1.3.b5f+ miner gives x22i 3.2 Mhs
P.S. I think RX570 give much more, but unfortunately I do not have RX570
P.P.S Considering the fact that this miner does not charge a dev fee, he is the best miner for the x22i algorithm.

Hey @fancyix thanks for keeping on the new algorithms and improving the existing ones for AMD miners. You are one of the hottest miners we have in PiMP OS now and we really appreciate the stability of both the hashing and the api, built on sgminer - one of the original miners that is the most reliable - so we can get accurate stats reporting to miner.farm web interface. It was nice talking to you about code today, and it is great to have you filling in much needed work for the AMD side of the house.

Keep up the hard work and talk to you in PiMP discord!

I never tried solo mining. As long as sgminer can do it, this miner can do it. You can google "sgminer solo mining"

you could try other letters, such as g, h, i, or maybe even j... or any other letter , or maybe even a number, but it's really hard for me to take this seriously when just keep adding ++++.

will your next version be: Version ++++++++++++++++++++    Roll Eyes

I really appreciated that you are improving on the miner, but your version naming schema leaves much to be desired.

Sorry, there's a lot of percentage increases after percentage increases. FancyIX, are you able to show a table of current approximate speeds per algo and card in your original post and update it whenever you release a new version? Have a look at how CryptoDredge does it in his thread, very useful. I currently have no idea what card hashes at what speed with your miner...

EDIT: and right as I posted this, I see you've actually edited your OP. Perfect!
