Could you see a future wherein the entire world shares one global currency, be it fiat or crypto? If I think it in a scifi kind of way, it would most probably be some digital currency that could all just use. It doesn't even have to be in this century. Maybe the next?
This could be difficult to control when we have different culture and economy every country as the standard is not the same. Policies every country had different and this can bring chaos and misunderstanding in every people. Maybe this could be possible if we have only one leader to decide for the whole world.
That will be a different experience while using one digital currency all over the world. No need to take money in your pocket. Cashless society will give a different idea. Some people are in favor of gullible currency and some are against it. They say it is not good for some countries like USA, because their dollars will lose importance and value in the world currency market.

The possibility is plausible but I think it will only work when the humanities works together to create something better instead of being greedy and taking advantage of others. Having one global currency means we are one in nature. It's not possible specially our society is kind of brutal this days.
Yes i agree with you , its not easy to manage global currency in the world because there are not in one nation . Like as you said greediness is one of the enemy of the humanity. But i still hope that its happen in the future.

Well, it can probably be picture out that time will cme there is something that will be same. There is a possibility that the currency will be one and thus everyone will be united. We can say that with this everyone can be universal and we can have unity.

Yes and its already happening in which we could use the US Dollar currency everywhere in the world for our direct spending but if you are looking forward for the crypto currency to be the same then i think it is possible but not that easy as you think because not all people know how to use crypto and not all places have an access to the internet in which these are all vital to every blockchain transaaction.

It is hard to really have the potential cryptocurrency or fiat due the large area where people do have differences in terms of race, beliefs and ideas which leads to the creation of groups. Because of this people would have a hard time to reach and agree to a single choice for a cryptocurrency.

I don't think we can have one global currency even it's digital or fiat. Because they use it for trading in different aspects. Fiat on converting to fiat is use to earn money like also to digital currency.  And the government of each country will not agree on that and never approve to we have one currency for the whole world.
all possibilities can happen and no one can know for sure what it would be like if indeed the crypto currency can change everything we can no one stop because the development of crypto currencies no one can know and predict for sure we must be smart take advantage of all opportunities

Almost every state has its own national money, which interacts with the economy of this state. Each state seeks to strengthen its currency and with this it strengthens its economy. It seems to me quite normal. The state simply cannot switch to using the currency of another state or cryptocurrency, which will not interact with the economy of this particular state. This will lead to the imbalance of economic indicators of the state. At the international level, states can agree on the use of a single currency, because this single currency will eventually be recalculated as a result of national money. However, the state will not be able to fully switch to the use of other people's money.

I don't see the emergence of a global currency in the future. We are in a world where some countries are seeking for supremacy. This quest will make it difficult for the success of a global currency. The bottom line is, who rules over the currency? Agreeing over a common consensus won't happen thereby making the emergence of a global currency a failure.

if the world only consists of 1 country or 1 federation, then that might happen. if it still consists of various countries, it will be very difficult to happen.
Unfortunately, the world is not just one country and the likelihood of seeing this happening is something that is not even plausible at all. A lot of countries gained their independence couple of years ago and even if they did not, every country was not particularly dependent on just one single country alone.

There is actually no chance at all to have something like that, as this means there will be a single central bank situated in one country, so in this case, who will be calling the shots? The reason why everyone have their own currencies and did not just decide to start making use of dollar being the most powerful currency in the world is that, everyone is independent economically.

There are many economically developed countries in the world and I think that no one will agree to the use of one global currency , but bitcoin has all the chances to become something evolutionary , but so far it's just a thought.

In my own opinion, No because if its possible then they already implemented it. And having a one global currency is not possible because it is a basis of every country in their economy and their market price. The import and export of goods in all over the world. There are many factors that can affect if we are pushing to have a one gobal currency.

haHa, I like this idea. By that time, the world is another scene, very expecting, at least for the convenience of going abroad. Don't worry about the coins of the countries

I agree. There is really a huge possibility that time will come that people will be using the same currency, even if it is fiat or digital currency. Bitcoin is probably make everything work. This has the potential of growing, it maybe volatile but when all people will be using it, then this will be stable.

Well, everything is possible, because look at how technology grows these days. It is possible for the world to have one global currency, but it's not appropiate for now. Because too much changing could cause a disaster. But maybe one day, it could happen.

For me its impossible. We don't need to use only one global currency. Because we all have its unique and historical currency. And i don't think all countries will agree if we only use one currency.

Same here, it will be difficult to create a unified global currency because of political and economic diversity of the countries in the world. Many nations especially the developing ones will surely object to this idea because their economy will be affected once it implemented. The G20 nations are have been trying to create a global regulations for the cryptocurrencies but until there is still no decision yet on how they imposed it globally.

I don't think it will be possible, there will certainly be many global currencies created because there will be a lot of economic developments that may in the future use digital currencies and will use both digital currencies and fiat currencies for global currencies.
I know many of us recommend bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies but i think only dollar recurrences can rule the world. Bitcoin is slowly banned and i think in future it will banned everywhere.
Even dollar cannot rule the world. It can be accepted as a form of payment globally, but it cannot just be used as the only single currency in the whole world.

In this case, what you are trying to refer to is the idea where countries will have to discard their own currencies and adopt only one, and I want to ask you if you think US government will have enough power to be able to impose their currencies on all countries that are independent. I totally doubt that. Worst that would happen is to see USD still standing the chance to being recognized in terms of usage worldwide, but cannot be used as a single global currency.

Fiat currency have numerous limitation that will not allow easily global usage, There is low level of transparency and the age is running out of fiat technology. The transparency of cryptocurrency gives it edge over fiat.

The world has one global currency, I think it's impossible. To make everyone have the same thought is impossible, and surely there will always be those who oppose or support, and it will be difficult to make one global currency.

Global currency can exist only in case there is a uniform world's government replacing different countries. And yes, it is very unlikely to happen in this century because there are still too many contradictions between different nations. We might witness the appearance of global currency in the "civilized" world (the territory of US, Canada, Europe, Australia, maybe some Asian countries), but the countries of the third world will be the last to accept the unified means of payment.

absolutely not. You should not be so confident in the beautiful future of Cryptocurrency. You should know that it's just an electronic currency and it has the utility of transferring money at high speed. In addition, it does not carry any meaning at all. I need to emphasize that it is a TRANSFER TOOL TO MONEY!
