Betmatch offers its customers a unique betting platform powered by blockchain and secured by smart contracts.

The customers use Ether to place bets on various markets without having to transfer the money, so they are in full control of their funds until they lose a bet. The external third party cannot influence funds, bet execution or payouts, these processes are automatic because of smart contracts feature. In this way, Betmatch offers solution to several issues: players can easily transfer funds in the form of cryptocurrency without delays and without worrying that bookmaker will somehow influence the payout.

Thanks to decentralized nature of our betting solution, we offer full transparency and high security. We believe that trust and comfort of our customers are  the most important things for the success of Betmatch platform. The services we provide and the beliefs we adhere to will bring an inner change into betting industry, which was long anticipated by players all over the world.

Can you tell me more about your competitors ?

We have explored the startups in prediction markets and traditional betting houses and have found only one trusted, decentralized, and operating project - Augur, which is currently operating on the main Ethereum network.

Other projects, like Bethereum, FansUnite, FunFair, are primarily focused on betting traditionally and are working on some similar business models. But they contain critical problems, such as liquidity (market making) and user acquisition.

None of those projects have the solutions to the mentioned issues, significant market share, or market influence at the moment. And in our opinion, to create a successful project means to combine trustless blockchain processes, ordinary non-blockchain services and a self-scaling social system that allows low-cost user acquisition.

Which  problems does your platform solve?

Our platform solves such player facing problems as:

* Slow depositing and withdrawing
It usually takes much longer than necessary to deposit and withdraw funds. Using blockchain technology, we guarantee fast and easy transfers.

* Lack of transparency
A player is truly at the mercy of the house when it comes time to collect payments. Collecting winnings, especially large ones, often becomes an issue of goodwill from the bookmaker. Smart contract system bypasses this issue altogether.

* Social betting problems
Players like to study predictions statistics, provided by «experts» or more experienced players. But there's a lack of track record of such experts that they could trust. Based on our token economy, Betmatch creates an innovative social betting system that serves players, analysts and Betmatch itself.

* High commissions
Holding XBM token grants user a possibility to bet without any house commissions.

What can you tell me about betting protocol
The Betting protocol is an infrastructure solution, and it might seem attractive at first glance. This model is focused on providing tech infrastructure to betting companies and business aimed to execute their own betting house or related business on blockchain basis. Local betting companies don’t need such a protocol. In fact, any successful betting company has enough funds to produce their solution that fits particular requirements. So, the betting protocol is just a good idea, in our opinion not related to the real business situation at bookmaker market at the moment.

I think the project haven't reach the point where the marketing campaign should start. It's just too early. The project is raw

It's a huge market of addicted people that is needed to be taken advantage of. They will certainly do that. I'm sure

Well, they are mature people, why should me, or anyone else bother about their problems. Everyboy's taking advantage of something, otherwise they won't survive. That's the law of nature. Plus, some bettors are really good and they may as well take advantage of you.

This week some changes in composition of our team took place.  Pavel Litvyakov, our CBDO (Chief Business Development Officer) decided to leave Betmatch project because currently he is mostly concentrated on his personal projects. Pavel told that unfortunately he will not be able to devote so much time and attention to the project as he did earlier, since with every passing day Betmatch is developing and gaining new momentum and requires more emphasis and work. In addition, he explained that he saw a slightly another way of Betmatch’s development which doesn’t always coincide with other team members’ perspectives. However, we are grateful for his cooperation and great ideas. Pavel is a great specialist and we are sure that all projects he works on will certainly become successful!
