If Facebook will have their coin, it might be restricted in the usage of their own site and services, nothing else. It'll be like Facebook credits/tokens.

The crypto market is largely affected by people or platforms with large community or followers. A platform like facebook host billions of people and as such, if Facebook or its founder, Zuckerberg decides to promote facebook, it will be one of the effective ways of creating awareness for the crypto market. This will draw a lot of investors to the crypto space.

I've read that Facebook is going to have its cryptocurrency https://cryptobriefing.com/ready-for-facebook-coin/Since Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg as an entity is highly influential, do you think it would bring crypto in a positive light? I am thinking that it may raise awareness of cryptocurrency as a whole and not just bitcoin. Yes it probably work that bitcoin would corporate at a big company that most people use it which is the facebook, positively they can somehow put some advertisement and in that case lots of people would recognize and even more gain popularity itself.

Well, in my opinion, if Facebook agrees to promote crypto currency then it is actually positive. I mean whether or not Facebook promotes or bash crypto currency as long as crypto currency is talked about then it is a great and free publicity for crypto currency and people will be curious about it and will eventually join in.

Facebook is the biggest social media at the moment, where users are the biggest, so it is very effective to promote bitcoin. but there must be a symbiosis of mutualism between the two, so that the trip smoothly

So far, nothing has been heard about this, most likely a lull before the storm, and so I think that facebook with its budget will be able to create an incredible token and its technologies will really be able to move the cryptocurrency to a new level, because if such a brilliant person is at the head of then everything is possible, so we are waiting for new news about his idea, and we hope that they will soon succeed.

Depends on how Facebook would promote it. If they would tend to put up on frontpage and explaining all sorts of things on whats cryptocurrency.FB do have the really a big traffic but chances of increasing popularity would still be questionable because it would depend on how users would react into such thing. We wont know but high chances there would really be some significant impact.

That would make unreasonable rules start appearing, users will pay taxes and with very high tariffs, crypto will no longer be an attractive destination for everyone, this is probably something that people will never want to see

Facebook as a social media platform has a high number of users and promoting cryptocurrency is another thing entirely. People will have their doubts on security with Facebook because of the Cambridge analytica saga

That could be possible for facebook to promote cryptocurrency and I believe it will be positive in results ,for facebook of many followers there could be possibilty that facebook users will adopt crypto because of the promotions of cryptocurrency in this social media which has millions of users.
It seems to me that years ago, Facebook is promoting altcoins though now it is banned because of some reason still there are some altcoins that allowed to advertised in Facebook. Promoting cryptocurrency in facebook is a very good idea because Facebook is a world wide social media that we use everyday. Once we used it to promote cryptocurrency many people will encourage and be curious about it.

I agree. There would be a positive impact on the people if facebook choose to promote cryptocurrency also in a positive way.Although people may have different reactions, but i think majority will still favor cryptocurrency once facebook shares to the people its potentials that would make them benefit the most.

I am thinking that it may raise awareness of cryptocurrency as a whole and not just bitcoin. We are way past the awareness phase of cryptocurrencies at least when it comes to bitcoin and other powerful altcoins, most people in the US, Asia and Europe already know that bitcoin exists, what we need now is adoption and that is a slower and more difficult process since people are not going to adopt them unless they feel they need to do it and as of now that is not the case.
