I think it's not just from Asia, but many people in Europe and some other countries that store and hold bitcoin that they have because they may realize that bitcoin can be very expensive so they choose to store the bitcoin they have for the long term.
I also agree on you. There may be a lot of bitcoin holders in Asia but i don't think if they are the most bitcoin holders in the world because as far as i know, bitcoin has been popular already to almost all areas in the world so it would not be surprising that there are already numerous bitcoin holders from other continents of the world.

Many countries are holding bitcoin not only in asia, in fact there are many countries accept bitcoin and that is really good for the future of bitcoin, the more countries hold bitcoin the more people will believe and want to invest on it.

A possibility of why this is true or at least why some people may have the impression of this to be true is because as we know the Chinese government puts very strict controls on their citizens about the money that they can move through the banking system, and as we know people have a tendency to look for the most personal freedom that they can and bitcoin allows them exactly that, so they have found in bitcoin a way to invest their money and move it freely around the world.

Even if it really is, it's very good. Asian countries are developing rapidly, the population is growing. So, the number of users of cryptocurrency can also increase. And this is exactly what we need, so that the crypto community could grow and spread the word about cryptocurrencies everywhere and around the world.

bitcoin was born in Asia and the majority of users are also Asians. Is it true that the majority of bitcoin holders are Asians. anyone can tell me
I dont think so. Bitcoin can now be shared to countries around the world. Asians cant be the continent that holds the most Bitcoins. Investors have sold Bitcoin to other people on different continents. So we cant conclude that Asians hold the most Bitcoins. I think japan should be on the top since in 2009 japan first announced the release of bitcoins and there develop also belongs to japan.

no one knows who owns the most bitcoin holder, whether it is Asians, Europeans, Americans, or Africa, because we know that the nature of bitcoin is anonymous, and not limited by territory or country.

Be that as it may, it is almost impossible to determine who actually owns the largest amount of BTC. Most cryptocurrency holders are reasonably silent about the state of their finances. In addition, few people store large amounts of coins at the same address.

We are not sure about this thing because we have no legal source about it but Asians have big impact on crypto market more investors means market is healthy ,asians exchanges always had the highest volume. The issue here is that people are looking at trading volume to judge those who are holding most of bitcoin but if we really want to judge based on that, one would understand that the whole trading volume put into play, is still not something compared to investment wallets with a large number of holders in each wallet and that is one statistics which you cannot easily get by knowing who the owner of those wallet are or where they hail from. I believe all this is just an assumption and nothing factual about Asian being the most bitcoin holders in the world.

It would be better if you cite some links to support your claim, because if not it will be just nothing but a pure opinion. And again, bitcoin wasn't came from Japan nor Asia as this thing is still uncertain. Please don't conclude or create confusion.
Alright, for once and for all, read this with apprehension. https://www.quora.com/What-countries-are-the-biggest-holders-of-bitcoin

It can be said that Asia is the most active continent to use and hold bitcoin, Japan is the biggest after the negative issue of the Chinese government that limits the use of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
Well the largest number of Bitcoin users is American. This is what i read recently in a daily news from New York. Asian markets particularly Indian market has been among the biggest markets in the world and if legalized by the government, it will be the biggest market for cryptocurrency as well. The maximum number of Bitcoin held by individuals are the Winklevos Twins from America, Tim Draper who holds 30,000 Bitcoins worth more than a billion dollar and the list goes on. So majority if the Bitcoins are owned by Americans and not Asians. This is the figure for individual ownership.

Yes we all know that Bitcoin originated in the continent of Asia.
Do we really know that? Frankly, I think the name Satoshi Nakamoto is a red herring, designed to divert people's attention from the fact that it was a US government agency that created bitcoin. Have you read any of Satoshi's posts here? Perfect-fucking-English. Now tell me again how you think bitcoin was born in Asia. Maybe Theymos or some other bitcoin-OG could set me straight on this, but I think OP's assertion is ludicrous.

We can't assume that untill we have some official hard proof about it. Also we don't know the exact history of bitcoins about the one who invested bitcoins, where they were born, etc. But for now, bitcoins are really spread globally and from each country bitcoins have some or the other user which is really good for bitcoins.

The reason why most Bitcoin holders are in Asia is due to the fact that in most of the Asian countries like China, they pay low electricity bills and because of that they are able to mine Bitcoins cheaply.

Maybe Theymos or some other bitcoin-OG could set me straight on this, but I think OP's assertion is ludicrous. Right, he never spoke a word of Japanese. IIRC the first Japanese translation for the software was submitted while Satoshi was still around, but by someone else. We don't even know which kanji should be used to write his name. My suspicion has always been that Satoshi was just an ordinary guy. He needed to be smart, but not a genius. Some random high school math teacher working on it as a hobby on the side, for example. I don't particularly believe that Satoshi is anyone notable inside or outside of Bitcoin. ( Also see my post here.) I'd kind of like to believe that Satoshi was the NSA or whatever, since that would imply an intelligent conspiracy. I'd feel much better about the world if I believed that there were intelligent, driven conspiracies in places of power, even if they weren't benevolent. But in reality I think that we live in a world driven by inertia, stupidity, short-term greed, and lack of vision; nobody is pulling strings to see any grand plans fulfilled. So I don't consider it likely.

Investors have sold Bitcoin to other people on different continents. So we cant conclude that Asians hold the most Bitcoins. Actually majority of the countries in the Asian Continent have banned cryptocurrency. It does not have a legal tender in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and even in China it has been the victim of law and enforcing agencies. They just banned few crypto exchanges and the reason behind doing so was the threat to the economy though it was not revealed by the state bank but was speculated by an expert. Anyhow, Asians are not the most Bitcoin holders. They are American with Tim Draper 30,000 Bitcoin and the Twin brothers more than that worth billions of dollars.
