I think the existence of altcoin can help bitcoin to grow especially for getting more people to come to the cryptocurrency because people will come by reading or watching for the altcoin. The altcoin makes promotion for their project, and people finally found their project and join with the project, and in the end, they will know that bitcoin is the king in the cryptocurrency and this makes them buy bitcoin too.

Many of these tokens are the so-called shitcoins, the alts that will vanish soon, and everybody will forget about their existence. No one new crypto can affect the value of Bitcoin.

Even there are too many Altcoin nowadays they can't still beat Bitcoin existence because this coin is survive for many years and remain best to all. Altcoin created by some people who want to beat and some of them create because not all people can buy Bitcoin also its supply is limited only, so that altcoin exist and it grow even more when many people get interested to it.

bitcoin now is very popular in the world so. many coin appear just make bitcoin prices go down

No, the great number of these new tokens will never affect Bitcoin's price. Vice versa, BTC can become even more popular and more expensive. Many of the shitcoins will die.

The number of altcoins will not be a threat to bitcoin because bitcoin has become so popular. Every time we talk about crypto currencies, the first thing that comes to our mind, mostly, will be bitcoin. And the reality on the ground to date, even though there have been a lot of altcoins out there, bitcoin remains at the forefront.

No, i don't think so. Bitcoin is too big for altcoin to be a threat to it. Bitcoin and altcoin runs on a two different world in cryptocurrency. And also most of the altcoin really depends on the bitcoin what i mean is that their movement depends on the price of bitcoin because most of the investor are getting their money on bitcoin to invest it to altcoins.

I think that the altkoins can not harm the bitcoin either, since the altcoyins are fixed to the ether and the altcones are coins that are used in a particular direction and bitcoin covers all directions

Altcoins will not affect Bitcoin, but it will make Bitcoin more stable. I also have time to look at the chart and see the prices of most Altcoins are also based on the increase of Bitcoin.

Yeah, I know that but some of these shitcoins can give us the opportunity to gain the profit, and I still want to use the coin for a long time until I cannot get that benefits from the coin. I agree that there is no new crypto can beat bitcoin, and I don't think that the altcoin can become a threat to bitcoin because the altcoin is followed what bitcoin did.

Altcoins are not threat to Bitcoin. In fact you can look at them as a healty competition.
It's true that market is very divided and new coins appear all the time, many of them tending to take Bitcoin's place but that is not going to happen because only few altcoins are actually worth mentioning.
So the affect of altcoins on Bitcoin in negative sense is actually zero.

No, I don't think so at this point. It will be hard to over take the position of bitcoin in the current time unless something comes out in the future that is totally flawless meaning, there will be unlimited supply in mining, a lot safer even if you lose your password, and probably run by AIs but that's not gonna happen until perhaps decades from no so for now, BTC will remain on its position.

I believe it is not really a major threat, but it is not healthy for Bitcoin in the long run. A lot of folks are investing a fortune in this Shit coins, monies that are supposed to swell Bitcoin market capitalization. But because investors wants crazy returns on their investment, they rather invest in this new coins which are mostly scams. The Devs will cash out eventually, thus crashing the market.

Currently, the majority of altcoins technically bypass bitcoin. But despite this, bitcoin is the first coin by market capitalization.

More and more ICO projects are coming based on many major currencies and specially in this year the trend increased rapidly with many reputed organizations that are in various industries and trades decided to start there own digital currency to make there business more effective and efficient in order to gain more profit.
Can these new launching Altcoin's make a negative impact on bitcoin's expansion in the future because we all know in order to increase the demand, usability and accessibility of bitcoin it should be widely use in most business areas but if Altcoin's take these opportunities how it can achieve its vision to become a widely used digital currency

Let we say, there are lots of altcoins nowadays, everyday they developed a new altcoins to different ICO project. However, even if there is so many altcoins out there still. Bitcoin is in the top rank, because many people knew it. They can used it in many transactions and sometimes it is used to games coins and others. So I think it is not a threat to bitcoin because I am confident that they did kot yet create a coins that possible can be threat to bitcoin.

As much as new ICO's can't do any harm towards bitcoin they can harm the crypto community. Lot's of those ICO's are there to sam people out of their money and make people afraid of investing in the cryptomarket.

I don't any altcoins can be a threat to bitcoin as at now, because I haven't see any of them getting it right against bitcoin. Some of them have to work on where bitcoin is failing but none of them have  done this, so I don't see any of them becoming a big threat to bitcoin.

I think new cryptos like AML BitCoin will be the next bitcoin in the market. AML BitCoin rests on a privately regulated public blockchain that facilitates AML-KYC compliance and identifies criminals associated with illicit transactions while maintaining and strengthening the privacy protections for legitimate users.

why not ? imo atlcoins are a threat to bitcoin because it can divert attention . like for example a guy who is a die hard bitcoin fan before altcoins arent popular but after some altcoins are invented , that guy will become curious to try those altcoins .

that simply means  the demand for bitcoins will become lesser overtime . how much more if there is an altcoin that is much better than bitcoin in terms of overall specs and stats ? for sure all people will be eager to switch on it , leaving bitcoin behind .

Bitcoin will not be defeated by Altcoin, because the determination of altcoin prices is converted from the price of bitcoin. This already shows that the altcoin class is under bitcoin. Even bitcoin is "life" for all altcoins, if bitcoin dies, all altcoins die.
