No,too many altcoins can't become threat to bitcoin existence.I think it is good for bitcoin.If altcoin become popular then bitcoin will be more popular. if you see the trading chart when bitcoin price dump altcoins price also dump.Actually altcoins depends on bitcoin.Though this is not true 100% but most of the time it happens

Almost all the crypto currencies were introduced together say in 2009 and since then bitcoin is the only currency that has made such s tremendous progress and due to its massive success, bitcoin presently on the top of crypto ranking and millions of people around the world are now investing into bitcoin, though no doubt competition always brings some threat to the progress but not that much that it would endanger the existence of that and there is no doubt that bitcoin is very sustainable crypto currency and no one can endanger its existence. |

Currently, there are altcoins, which are technically more successful and more convenient than bitcoin, but the capitalization of bitcoin does not become less. It is still popular, so I think that the situation will not change in the future.
Yeah, there's a lot of altcoins out there that is quicker than bitcoin in terms or confirmation time, but they don't care because bitcoin has enjoyed a lot of support from all of us. So in a nutshell, they can't really put a significant dent on the price of bitcoin. We have like more than 1000 altcoins already and counting but bitcoin remains the dominant crypto's. It's really incomparable as of the moment as bitcoin enjoy a wide pool of trust, support and activity from supporters and enthusiast. Bitcoin's value will be very hard to beat. We don't see any real competition right now when it comes to worth as bitcoin remains the most valuable by miles. The capitalization tells it all, there's no denying that bitcoin remains to be the most sought after crypto till date making it invincible to any threat posed by altcoins. Altcoins will never be a threat, rather, altcoins are paving way for bitcoin's improvement every time they come up with disruptive approaches such as faster confirmations, smart contracts, etc. |

Bitcoin is forever the big guy every altcoin is looking up to. In the past, alot of altcoins have marketed themselves with some sort of comparative advantage to Bitcoin. For instance, some altcoins have touted really faster confirmation times; others claim to offer privacy enhancements. But for some reason bitcoinn still remain dominant. Even though Bitcoin developers have focused on implementing their own innovations rather than responding to what’s going on with the altcoin market. Right now it wont affect bitcoin existence but hey nobody knows what will happen tomorrow.

I doubt very much that there is an altcoin now that would be better than bitcoin. Otherwise, everyone would be talking about it now and actively investing in it. So I continue to think of bitcoin is king of crypto-currency market.

In my opinion, no other altcoin can be a threat to the King of all cryptocurrencies which is Bitcoin. Bitcoin is commonly known worldwide than all other altcoins as it paved way for the alts.

You correctly noticed that tokens are applied , as a rule, by separate business structures to increase the efficiency of their activities. That is, they do not overlap with the interests of Bitcoin and therefore cannot harm him. I believe that on the contrary, the increase in the number of coins and tokens will cause an increasing interest in cryptocurrency and at the same time to its leader. I don't think that there is anything that can prevent btc from the great success. To my mind, it is better to invest in btc now and wait until the price for btc increases and the market recovers

no actually all altcoins or tokens depend on bitcoin 98% who have a pair to fiat is bitcoin to cashout that's why if the price of bitcoin goes down then the altcoin too bitcoin still dominates the cryptocurrency market for now |

It may make sense that some investors will shift some of their investment's fraction to go to another cryptos but at the end of the day, it's always been bitcoin that will dominate the cryptoworld. I also believe that most of these alt coins will not survive in the market as the competition gets tougher each day.

I agree that bitcoin will always remain the king or all crypto, and it serves as the leader of all alts so no way for those other coins to become threat to bitcoin. They remained under the economy of bitcoin due to more trading sites we're exchanging most of the alts towards bitcoin market. Basically that's the reason why also bitcoin has become volatile during bearish market. When bitcoin dumps, alts also will perish on each price so all of a certain scenario really accumulated. |

New altcoins that appear every day and disappear same fast can't be a threat to a stable almost 10 years old bitcoin. It is like a mouse threating an elephant. No chance. I think for each altcoin will be a buyer, user, just the market will expand with more selection of altcoins for any wallet (sum) and purpose. |

Thats right mate. how many altcoins that will arrive will not make a serious threat to bitcoin. instead it will make indirect promotions on bitcoin. because bitcoin is the basis for altcoin prices right? so people will use bitcoin indirectly. It is possible that a lot of these alt coins being released might be the next big thing that could overthrow bitcoins out of its thrown as king. Many of these alt coins are a threat to bitcoins but it doesn't mean it will eliminate bitcoins for good. Some will still stock up some bitcoins due to its popularity. |
