I'm a Filipina and there's a lot of posts posted on social media that our local airline, Philippine Airlines and STI school now accepts Bitcoin. This news will create a stir and this will help spread information that Bitcoin is not scam at all. I know in the future there will be more businesses and companies will accept Bitcoin too.
What's your view on this? Does your country accept Bitcoin too?
Wow this is such a great news if true. Is it true? sometimes people spread rumor for no reason but to stir the market. Have you confirmed it with airlines? This could really show them that bitcoin is getting huge. it would be a big help. You can find some link below to check if it's legit or not. If you put a realible source, it will be good cause everyone will judge what you have said is really happening. I know the state of cryptocurrency in the Philippines and are grateful that the government opened the door to its people to use cryptocurrency, and I have read in this forum that people can pay a cup of coffe with bitcoin. Southeast Asia has not fully accepted bitcoin, it's easy to hope that this step will be followed by several countries in Southeast Asia such as Brunei, Myanmar, Indonesia, Malaysia and others. |

i for one know that the bitcoin is the face of the new technology and it is known that technology makes things to be easier and done faster. making payments has never been easier like the option of using bitcoin and the speed in closing a payment transaction is always with fastest with the bitcoin option. thanks

It would be good to heard that Airline fare and School fee accepted bitcoin . Because its is a big company of the world and it is a lot of good if they agree to accept bitcoin entry in their company. They can also invest and earn profits through bitcoin investment. More companies like this have the presence of bitcoin, the more too expensive bitcoin prices. I hope so many more big companies like its to accept bitcoin as an investment help to gain more profit. It's not wrong to try in new things, but we even get more knowledge.

If most of the schools will do that then the reputation of bitcoin upon hearing by people unaware of it will change.
Today, when we a bitcoin advocate talks about bitcoin to a person with zero knowledge about bitcoin they'll think of it as a scam. This type of news and adoption are always positive as it gives confidence to the society that bitcoin is truly a good medium of payment.

It is true that more bitcoin will be used as a means of payment more people will trust. If companies like Airlines accept bitcoins then it's a big open door where the bitcoin market will only grow.

This is great news. In my country we don't have such payments right now but i am sure in near future we will have too. When i hear a news like this one i feel very happy because i feel belong to this cryptocurrency world. Every new day every new news in all over the world.. I think this is the best answer for who says the bitcoin is bubble!

WOW!!!
That's a Great move by Philippine Airline and truely appreciated gesture by STI school. Such positive News never make HEADLINES in mainstream media. This signifies slowly Bitcoin is getting adopted by the masses.
This will also encourage others to start accepting Bitcoin. Thanks for sharing..

I also saw through out social media specially in facebook stating that Philippines is regulating cryptocurrency well and recognized Bitcoin as more convenient way for money transferring. I also read some articles in cointelegraph about an adoption for bitcoin to be used as a payment in some universities and some schools are now studying blockchain. There are huge numbers of businesses all over the world are now accepting bitcoin as a payment and with that said, it is clear that bitcoin is not a scam and most of us here in this forum knows that.

this is very interesting information, in my country there are at most small shops or cafes, whose owner is enthroned bitcoin and accepts such plots. It's good that there are places in the world as favorably bitcoin as the Philippines. |

That is a another gokd leap of bitcoin in the cryptocurrency world that it is accepted as airline fare payments and it is also accepted as school fee payments ,then this will boast the another popularity of bitcoin accepted as payments by this said establishment and institutions.

Bitcoin allows paying School fee in some places i have also heard. But Bitcoin approved payment for airline tickets is unknown. If that's true i think the best news for us is when Bitcoin penetrates into everyday life.  |

That's great! I've read that some big investors in the Philippines are working on making bitcoins widely accepted in the country. If all other countries will have the same goal on bitcoins, not only will it boost the movements of it but will also help boost the economy in my opinion.

Unfortunately my country do not know what bitcoin and blockchain is all about. I agree with you that if this story is true then it will increase the rate of bitcoin adoption and the number of people that will be using bitcoin will also increase.All this will combine to produce increase in bitcoin demand and the price will also increase. I hope that the experiment works out well so that other airlines in Philippines will try also to be part of bitcoin.
