My guess for the price jump is that they weren't moving any of the 33 TH models.

I know i wasn't about to pay 125$ per TH, for the extra 2.

I'd say still a good deal, just not as good.

They should have left the m10 31th at 799 and killed the coupon it would have kept USA buyer under 800 and no trump tax.

The 33th should be dropped to 949 with a 25 dollar coupon. Or 924.

USA buyers would get the 31th  model.

Now

the s15 is a tax job 27.6% for USA
The m10 is a tax job 27.6% for USA
The t15 is no tax  and may be the best deal. 0% since it is under 800.

Yea, sad to see the demand hit a cliff for these. T15 in LPM is the best purchase now imo. So I agree with philip, per usual.

Only bulk will bring the cost of these down substantially enough to make tariffs worth it.

Yeah it is tough for me.  I did the build out with a mix of gear.

1  s15          top speed   57 watts a th
19 s9's  set these at mid speed90 watts a th
6  m10's set these at top speed 70 watts a th
1 t2turbo24 eco speed 82 watts a th
1 a921        -1 speed 95 watts a th
2 a721        -1 speed 140 watts a th     so this is 2000 watts
4 s7ln           reg speed 250 watts a th  this is 2800 watts
14 L3+   these are on a low watt program

so replacement of the bold gear will happen and 2 m10's would do the trick

some power  but th would go from 20th to 63th

No argument there, about $2.2k for two w/duties. $51/th for the added 43th for about the same draw.

For me it doesn't change much. Just the added price. I have to pay PST + GST on everything I receive so 13%, if I had a registered business it would only be GST at 5%. It also varies by province, Alberta for instance only has the GST. Usually only gets worse when  CAD takes a dip, makes me long for that shortlived time at Par.

Nice, I had some Avalon gear that showed up and was well over spec. I love winning the hardware lottery. After the last reset and increase to normal mode - I am getting 30.8 and 31.7 TH/s from my units.

I was kicking around the idea of ordering another 1 maybe 2, but haven't decided on pulling the trigger yet. The price increase hasn't helped the decision either.

T15 is best the best option under de minimis right now. At least on the m10 31T the tariff is "marginal" compared to other units. Looks like about 1.2k with duties/shipping is about right.

ja. As I said yesterday in Kano's Discord room, my take is that Pangolin took notice of the M10 31T's outselling the 33T's and correctly realized that for us in the US, the reason we loved the 31T was no Tariff (assuming you get/receive them 1  per-day or less often). The 33T is over de minimis and sales took a hit from it. Putting them both over de minimis removes that difference.

Since  they  are effectively now at :

31th    850 x 1.276 + 91= 1175   too much to  pay I paid   875 10 days ago  so it is a 34% jump in price
33th  1020 x 1.276 + 91 =  too much to  pay

daily hash rate jumped real hard last 2 days
42,000,000,000 gh to 48,000,000,000
so that  make the gear worth 5 to 10%  less then the 799 it was listed for  not   34%  more.

based on this new jump the 875 I paid including the shipping for the 31th unit should now be 800 to 830
not 1175

I feel a rant about shitting business decisions coming on. Mostly with MicroBT bobblenecking supply through poor vendors.

Well  if they were to sell

the 31th model for 749 + 150 shipping and handling  they would get 899

if they were to sell

the 33th model for 799 + 175 shipping and handling they would get 974


no coupons and in both cases under the 800 number

I did ask about this a while back. They said it was just a variance between different batches of chips being produced.

It is weird the US tariffs play a big change for the manufacturers pricing. They have to balance out a price to still be viable in the American market, but not be giving it away to the rest of the world.

yeah the 27.6% tax is a brutal number to overcome

old 31th was 875 with no tax + coupon + shipping   roi is in 700 days with 4 cent power.  this is bad enough

new 31th  is   1111 with tax + coupon + shipping    roi is never  with same 4 cent power.

so at 200 days you would owe 416 on the lower price
and at 200 days in you would owe 652 on the higher price    that extra 222 cost is a killer for me.

Some one was talking about selling me one at 799 + 101 shipping = 900  but that may fall through.

So no purchase for now

have to have volume though, currently there are zero signs for a group on 31T. Only thing to work out is shipping to stay under deminis once we get to 200 units.

I know this is not the place for group buy, but I checked the group buy section and didn't find anything recent. However, sign me up for 1 or 2 31Ts.

I've been waiting to pull the plug on these for a month and reading of yours guys' positive experience tipped me over the edge... Until they raised their prices last week.
