Ripple is one of my favourite coin and it has been performing well in the latest time. See its price in the recent past, it prices rises steadily up and up despite the market experiencing a massive meltdown. On top of that, it has just beat the second most good coin, ethereum by market cap being in the second place. It is good news for ripple followers and investors. I think it will defeat even bitcoin in the future.

Nice summarizing of data and now its easy to understand , I think this is the third time that ETH was leave behind by XRP and the biggest gap , maybe this is now the time for ripple to take the second place to BTC , but hopefully ETH will recover because personally I don't like centralize coin .

I agree with you but would add I think in short term it might or might not be a successful investment but in the long term XRP will be a great investment

It can't go anywhere, not without the bitcoin. And bitcoin is not going anywhere but bottom. And unless the Bitcoin don't show any signs of positive movement, no other crypto is going to move up.

This is probably the first time in 9 months it feels good to be all in on xrp. I’d rather see everything in the green with xrp in the lead, this scenario is not really benefiting anyone except xrp holders.

I do think that the increase will only be for a small time and then the coin will be back on the downtrend with the rest of the market because as long as it has trading pairs with bitcoin, this will affect it too

Personally I don't think that ripple will keep 2nd position on the market for a long time. But I recognize that this coin is strong and has a prosperous future.

Eth back to #2 and XRP goes back to #3.

Each of their market caps aren't far to each other and this rivalry to number 2 spot has been close lately.

The battle for number 2 spot is really on going.

The problem with ETH is that so many tokens/contracts are on their blockchain so if it goes down so does almost everything ETH related.

Maybe that is one of several possible reasons why people are investing in XRP over ETH

I don't know, it looks to be only temporary, something like a bull trap to get people thinking that the coin is back on track, hell of the coins are a bull trap right now. The coins are no doubt going to stay like this for a very long time before we start to see any kind of increase in the prices, but we have to be patient and hodl for long time

Despite this growth, I am still confident that Ethereum will return to its 2nd position, because eth is very promising and has not yet fully manifested itself, so Ripple did not move it for long!

I have great difficulty and great negative perception of the Ripple project, because I do not understand its need for a cryptocurrency world on the assumption that this project has nothing to do with cryptocurrencies.

Currently it looks all over for ETH. It seems XRP is number 2 with 3 billion market capital more than ETH

many people underestimate the growth of ripple but in fact actually surprise everyone with the growth of the market cap that is able to shift the second position of ethereum as best altcoins.

i would like to highlight that marketcap for XRP is with calculated only circulating supply, if you calculate total supply, XRP is above ETH many times, and close to BTC
personally, i do not see that as viable to stay, XRP is overvalued at the moment, compared to ETH and BTC
