Ethereum back at number two

As I can see at CoinMarketCap, the current situation with ETH and XRP is quite shaky. Ethereum's capitalization is 23.2 billions USD, Ripple's capitalization is 22.3 billions USD, so XRP might again overthrow ETH in the near future.

Although some crypto exchange markets do not want to list and trade Ripple, rich bankers appreciate fast XRP transactions, and I guess they will pump their crypto currency in order to dethrone even Bitcoin.

That's how the market is going to be because we don't know how people are treating the potential coins in the market and each should be careful with this coins like ETH, XRP etc any time to can start pumping along with the Bitcoin. I hope ETH will always secure the second position after Bitcoin.

Obviously, the bull market has not come, because only the price of XRP is steadily increasing, and all other cryptocurrencies have not shown such growth!

I also need to admit that Ripple also gave a great surprise, so it had to shift Ethereum's position. Even though ethereum managed to regain that position. Ethereum is indeed the best altcoin. That's what I think to this day.

in my opinion it should be so, which is suitable to occupy the second position after bitcoin is only ethereum because ethereum is a coin with high technology and has high trust from investors.

That's what it's supposed to be. The most used and most trusted altcoin is ethereum after bitcoin in the crypto market. Almost all ico's are ethereum based.

Ethereum will bounce back, there was price down pressure from ICO's that were selling their stack of coins in fear of loosing their value in fiat. That process has already almost finished and will only happen with new ICO's.

I agree with you yes ethereum is better than ripple because ripple is a centralised coin and bank is backing them on the other hand ETH is the king of altcoins. Ups and downs are part of the game well this what it happened to ETH now they are slowly trending.

An opposition of XRP and ETH is an opposition of the centralized shit and the decentralized world computer. And I am sure that Etherum will remain in second place until the end of this year. Can he take first place? I'm not sure he's capable of that. But Ripple will be pissed anyway.

I think Ripple will dump to its original price soon. The pump last days is because of some good news of XRP and it often occurs when some coin has good news, i don't like the pump -dump game so i'm outside of it.

And what would be the Ripple's original price in your opinion? XRP cost $3.3 at one point, you know. I think when Bitcoin returns to its ATH Ripple will be over $3 again. There is a chance it will happen as early as this December. Meanwhile Ripple can go to its May's $0.9 easily in the nearest future.

At least Ethereum has some value with ICO market, I don'tsee XRP has any value.

Well, nevertheless it has a value. We all know about manipulations, but we can't deny that a big part of the daily trading volume is real, especially on higher levels, when it's about hundreds of millions USD. And Ripple's daily trading volume is $736,023,922 USD as of today.

Now a little fluctuation in the market will cause such a big reaction? Whenever it falls, it starts to feel scared and panic. Whenever there is a little ups or rebounds, it begins to guess whether the bull market is coming. I don't think this kind of behavior is interesting. I don't think it makes sense.

There is no position on the list of coinmarketcap that can not be replace with another coin even if it means it's replaced as a result of flash sale or for few days. These things are not set in gold. Different coin will increase and decrease as market dictate!

expectedly yes, even ripple (XRP) get the slot for being number two and surpass ethereum, this doesnt mean that XRP would last on that spot. ofcourse ethereum will always at that spot (no.2). and no doubts about it. nothing will change in this markets but the competitions of being no 3 in the top 10 list.

That isn't obvious, cause the ethereum market already stand strong in the past few years, even though it got defeated for once, doesn't means it won't be able to take bake what its has gained for the past years.

IMO, Ethereum should always be having a bigger marketcap compare to ripple because look at the use case

Ripple are mainly focus in banks, financial institutions. I mean as a user you can sent/receive Ripple but look at most of the partnership, are bank related or remitance
Ethereum are more of a community usage coin like ICO, DAPP where most people will interact with it

Actually Ripple demonstrated some stubbornness to over throne Ethereum but could not maintain the lead. Factors that warrant that was the announcement made by XRP CEO that, [3]Three Companies now accept XRP as a method of payment in the real world, but, Ethereum been a superman quickly over throne XRP within a very short period of time.
