QMC will be a safe haven for all magnets!
Share the info!  Wink

We're sorry for the diluted attendance of the team on discord!
Should be over in a day or two though

Meanwhile, the community looks great !
A lot more active than discord servers we've all seen in the past !

Minimum staking amount is 10 QMC - and luck is also a factor.
What output do you get if you go to Tools -> Debug Window
and type:
getstakingstatus

Everything should be set to 'true' (except for the last one, which will change once you stake)

If everything besides the last one is 'true' - try giving your wallet a reset (pretty much an issue with all PoS coins)

Could be any of the above really, the network grew quite fast in the past few days too...how many coins are you staking if you don't mind me asking?

You can always get better/faster support on discord (from multiple people)

Oh, and anything planned to integrate Torznab protocol? Then stuff like sickbeard / sonarr could just connect to this daemon's index directly.

https://github.com/Sonarr/Sonarr/wiki/Implementing-a-Torznab-indexer

We are working on a web API which will allow deployment of a simple site w/ search function, registration functions, etc... It should be easily configurable as to what users can/can't do and how it effects the QMC network.

For example if this site is running on a server with a MN - users could register and vote on files, and the MN would act according to the majority of votes (by voting good or bad @ QMC)

This development should start after the next wallet release Wink

Did i understand correct that -only- MN holders can vote for a torrent?

I guess the ~2700 torrents inside then will -not- get rewarded for their work? Because the ~70 MN holders don't care?

Why aren't -all- torrent submissions rewarded, if they are correct?

Or

What shows do the MN holders want to see inside?

Yeah, that is correct.
You can gain some votes from the community though (on discord, there is a #good-magnet / #bad-magnet where people ask for votes and usually get them, for example)

With the release of the PHP-API it would keep in mind the 'web users' votes, so if the server running the API has a masternode it would automatically vote based on those.

The idea of rewarding everyone unless voted bad has came in mind for this release, so has the amount of votes required, but such a change would require more community input of course

On the one hand, not to reward those who did not vote correctly from the point of view of the community; on the other hand, this is too much centralization of power. It turns out that investors who have many assets in portfolios including yours may simply not get anything due to the fact that it is impossible to monitor and participate in all projects.

So far the majority of the people who own MNs are actually enthusiasts of the purpose of the coin!
although there are indeed a whole bunch who are purely in it just for the rewards/investment point of view...hence lowering the threshold of votes required might just be the way to go.

Just to clarify, anyone can submit links - not just MN holders
I assume you meant if investors don't participate in voting?

i am highly convinced 99% of MN holders are MN holders for the passive income, not to handcheck ~3000 torrents per month to vote for each valid one.
