So I remember vividly around last year when Bitcoin was booming so much, that has been my best lived moment till date, I got a business from a random guy on Facebook, where I just had to monitor stuff for him online and give him green lights to go ahead or so ( basically I was just staring at the screen for like 3 hours or so ) daily and I was earning 15$ daily, for like 3 weeks or so I was being paid in BTC Grin this were my best days, this same guy made me know about Bitcointalk, and so I registered and was following the forum, posting regularly and reading posts I could read, joined signature campaigns and learnt many other stuff, until boom, My PC got hacked into someway somehow and I lost my Bitcointalk account, I copied my wallet seeds somewhere so I was safe, and I lost contact with my mentor guy.

Here I am trying to start from the beginning again and hoping to meet someone or group of people that'll change my life, maybe not permanently but would leave marks.

Hoping for better days ahead.

If you don't mind you could share your best memories too.

P. S: I knew about bitcoins in 2014 thought it was scam(silly me LOL) so I wasn't interested until 2017

I knew about cryptocurrencies since around early 2015, but I did not have the funds to become involved until around a year later after I registered on this forum. However, I stupidly gambled the vast majority of all my crypto away on a variety of dice sites, though there was some fun times included too, like being rained on for several hundred dollars at times. My fondest memory is probably buying XRP before it exploded in value, but I held it too long and it crashed again, FML.

Easy.  The whole run from November through early January this past year.  I got in right at the right time to more than double my money between holding Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and XRP.  Managed to cash out at the right time, too.  Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure that I've lost those profits trying to teach myself to trade throughout 2018, but it's an ongoing learning experience.  I have no doubt in Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in the long term.  We just have to have patience.

I think when the best cryptocurrency memories am having is the year 2016 when 1btc was between 500$ and $800. Nobody or even me didn't know it could be this worthwhile, I could have buy nothing less than 10btx then. But look at where we're now. I know some people will also have the memories of when 1btc was $10 and $20.

My best memories of cryptocurrency are: once, when my finances were almost in the zero area, I was looking for an opportunity to sell shitcoins on the fork. And to my surprise, one coin made a tall pump about a few hours before I arrived. In the end, I got a very nice bonus X10 is completely random with coins, which are not collected even softcap. Here's a fun, but still very pleasant to my heart story.

The Doge pump was cool but I really really didn't know what I was doing yet...

The AURoracoin pump was a sight to behold, and I knew enough at the time to take advantage of it..

The first BIG UNB pump was amazing, I was such a naive shill cheerleader at the time though, lol.. Just after the GAW happening..

O I almost forgot Paycoin (xpy?)! I was THERE for the $20 "floor" happening and killed it on the wild spread immediately after the $20 buy wall disappeared.. I was THERE and witnessed that happening..

Some guy got a bunch of XPY on the gaw exchange site for like 1 satoshi each and made a killing dumping them later, when they first opened trading it for the gift cards thing.. He got them off the exchange in time before they rolled it back..

The early Darkcoin pumps were really something.. They should never have changed it to DASH.. DRK ftw
All the hype when darksend first came out, I even downloaded the wallet and tried it out, lol..
Damn I should check that old wallet and see if I forgot some DRK on it!

I watched in awe at BTCs bottom after the $1200 ATH..

Those were the days!

ICOs ruined it all?
I hated the brand new shitcoins like sprouts already and then ICOs happened..

Cryptsy fell. I was THERE for the whole thing and ARBed the hell out of it exiting with coins like UNO..
Cryptsy falling is what brought me to Bitcointalk..

I think almost all of my best crypto memories are Cryptsy memories when I was a green newb..

Ofcourse I was here for the $20k BTC pump but that doesn't seem long enough ago to be "memories" yet..

Here I am trying to start from the beginning again

Learn how to secure your account and not get phished..
Make sure you learn up on what things you should not do around here so you don't get a negative trust. Forum etiquette..
Learn the forum rules so you don't do something stupid and get banned..

Good luck

I remember when some of the first alts started coming out, I would jump headfirst into them and mine the early blocks. Mining is fun, solo mining is even more fun. Solo-mining and getting huge rewards is almost addictive.

I didn't really earn much though, maybe I should dig through my old laptops to find private keys for these cryptos but it would probably not be worth it.

Still, I think that even now the times are exciting, we have people like andreas antonopoulos and a ridiculous amount of scams and almost 2000 alts just at coinmarket cap. (1993 at the time of writing)

One of my favorite times was right before we hit $1000 for the first time (bitcoin price). Some members of the forum (me included) were planning a huge party in Germany, there was tons of optimism. Then Gox happened.

Syscoin has the best of Bitcoin and Ethereum in one place, it's merge mined with Bitcoin so it is plugged into Bitcoin's ecosystem and takes full advantage of it's POW while rewarding Bitcoin miners with Syscoin

My best moment in the cryptocurrency space which I can still remember vividly was early this year when I made some few dollar earnings from a bounty campaign and was able to use it to offset an uprising expense; it was really a stitch in time!

I like to remember the rapid growth of bitcoin. It was very reckless. I couldn't stop. The news flew from all sides. Then I didn't think that such a fall is possible.

I feel bad anytime I see the coin .

The best memories I had is when bitcoin price keep on surging last year, I feel like an expert in trading because of the strong bull market, each time I trade I always made profit, and my investment value in crypto keep on increasing, I remember I cashed out a little part of crypto and enjoyed a luxury vacation, its a fantastic time of my life with crypto

I just feel that most of us best crypto memory till now is common. It is about last December's boom in coins price. How happy those days were! I enjoyed every moment because I received the best out of it. I wish more days like those Smiley

my best memories in crypto happened at the end of 2017 where I got the benefits of doubling when I was in need of money for the birth of my second child, and that was not forgotten until now.

My best memory is now. Everyone out the window is worry about blockchain or bitcoin.
But I am completely believe it will have a huge impact on the world.
In the bear market , anytime i buy bitcoin , will be a low price.

PS: I heard about bitcoin in 2015 by a friend , he told me to buy some ,if i wanna make some extra money.
At that time , bitcoin price was about 1000💲,
I just told him "that is shit , why don't i pay the same price to buy a excellent PC  playing  GTA V ?"

Maybe it is the most interesting memory about bitcoin.
eeee.......    GTA V is really interesting . Cool

2017 would remain the year of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies as a whole. My portfolio rose to a  reasonable amount in December and I was feeling cool, only for my high shoulders to be crippled with the bear season in early 2018. I was so excited about your assets that I refused to sell off. Now, I'm still crying cause of that silly act.

In my experience of finding money in this bitcoin. The best memories in cryptocurrency is i can buy housing equipment namely washing machine, furniture, television and closet. Also I can buy a new smartphone using the money I get.I'm also can buy kitchen ware and child needs such as food and baby milk. I am happy to work in bitcoin because it is a convenient income and can be followed by everyone without choosing age, religion and gender. So,i also think its is very worthy for everyone  who want find side income for family especially housewife that not working.

I know bitcoin in 2016. but i do not care much about it. And in 2017 I fell into unemployment. And once again a friend introduced me to bitcoin. I try to try many ways to earn bitcoin but it's not all that effective. Until I get to the end of the 2017 bounty campaign. I had a wonderful result after a long time in crypto.
