tried the new image file, but my miner can not boot with it.
So i am going back to 14 september image file.
Hopefully that will solve my problem

*edit* Going back to 20180914 core update solved my problems. Miner up and running again. But with firmware update 20180926.

Unless you can get it for a pretty good price, I'd probably say you are nearing the end of profitability unless you have very low electricity.

Anyone has working Z1+ stable?

Recommendation of pools - multicoin or mine coin direct?

My recommendation is nicehash because it is stable and easy.  I used miningpoolhub for a while, and it worked fine too.  However, I am having pretty good success with Prohashing with my Z9 minis, so I may test it out too...

I had tested the 0930 firmware working perfect in my Z1,the temperature bug had been fixed in this version. this version can auto detect Z1 & Z1+,set 900 for Z1 925 for Z1+.
But when you export JSON file,the default frequency is 925 for Z1,I think it is a new bug in this version.

hey glfrank

can you or someone else tell me how you updated the firmware?

i downloadet the file (z1_static_100_09_30_release_overclocking.img - 4GB) and then i used a Image-To-USB-Tool to burn it on the usb stick.
But my miner dosen't boot with this firmware.

At least i was smart enough not to use the original usb stick.
So i could just switch the sticks ad my miner works again.

But i really would like to know how i can do it...thx.
Just like other version,I burn it to the usb stick, it will be all right. But please note the default IP address is 192.168.1.100,so if your router default IP address is not 192.168.1.x,plz change to fit for the miner. You are from TaiWan?

Are you getting any better consistency in speed?

I will note that over a couple days the speed on nicehash leveled out pretty good
I think new firmware have same hash rate as old version, but after overclock to 1000M I got more about 10% hash rate.
New version have a better looking, also can let you check your miner temperature when you overclocking it.Smiley

Shouldn't this miner restart if a hashboard stops working? I randomly get this, and using any frequency above 800 makes this happen, and auto restart miner is set at 5ghz, but it doesn't restart it. I am on 926 firmware, what is wrong?

Does anyone know who's behind the Dayun mining company? It seems quite secretive with very little information available online.

I've heard rumours them being the Pinidea company (www.pinidea.io) with new name?

But I haven't been able to confirm this.

There is no doubt, the firmware is nearly identical to RR-210 complete with FPGA programming tools. There is even a copy of the RR-210's bitstream. Also, check /etc/config.cfg:

Quote
password = "admin";
hostname = "pinidea";
frq = 800;
fan = 1;
asic = 50;

Disassembly of the miner binary also hints that they may have ASICs for lyra2z and neoscrypt that have yet to be publicly released. We will see Smiley

I just can't figure out why they are ditching the old Pinidea name and come up with this new Dayun name.

I suspect due to reputation issues, many people were upset with how they handled the RR-200/210 release and the fact that they secretly mined for nearly 8 months before "launching" the product. Same with the fact that they still only manufacture 28nm chips, they are very clearly looking to make a quick profit. It is too bad really, as their builds are of good quality.

If anybody has a Z1 or Z1+ can you please try to access /phpbash.php or /webroot/phpbash.php - there may be an unauthenticated backdoor in the latest firmware.

It works, console shows up in browser. But what is the difference from regular ssh?

If you forward the miner out to the internet there is no authentication, anybody can hijack your miner.

Does not work.
You just get firmware fault on the miner.

any clever ways to disable this backdoor?

Overclocking is done how?
Tried the trix going into the json file and rewrite the clock settings and fans, but i have no idea if it works.
Does not seem to give me more hash/payment
