Firstly you have to choose crypto exchange that has feature of stop loss, this feature is very important to cut the loss immeditially from wrong trade. Before make any deposit we have to know the trading plan and how percentace of take profit and stop loss for each trade. And take profit should be always higher percentace than stop loss, so incase in 8 times trade we are getting loss 4 times and earn profit 4 times so we are still make any profit. Never trade without use stop loss because you will loss more when the trade wrong because the crypto market open 24/7 so we are not possible to look in to the chart everytimes.

Agree with you, stop loss option give you a right risk management and you need to waist all your time at the computer.

I want to know how you relate the risks to profits?
What is the determining factor for you to sell or buy coins?
How many of you are trading short-term?
I try not to trade above 10% as a very high volatility in the market, just try not to buy coins that have already grown , it is better to buy when they fell very much

It's not possible to completely avoid risk in cryptocurrency.
Risk is a feature of every investment you can only minimise it.
I prefer long term investment to short term

I minimize my risks with the help of the established trading business with China. I think that this will allow me to invest well in the field of cryptocurrency in 2019-2020.

Because if we do not dare to take risks then the opportunity to make a profit is small and as much as possible we are to minimize the risks that exist. To sell or buy coins, I myself choose to sell the coins that I have when I have made a profit, don't be too greedy to keep holding them and wait for them to reach their highest point and when it doesn't match what you want, all you get is regret.

yes to minimize losses in my opinion is looking for small profits and I agree with you because if you take a lot of profit maybe what happens is a loss because I personally have done it. and in my opinion it's a bad thing if you take a lot of profit in crypto unless the capital you have is also large

My deciding factor in selling and buying coins is based on trading knowledge that I have obtained. so, I know when I have to sell and buy coins. because I often trade daily. so, I can minimize the risks. and I get profit by trading knowledge that I have mastered.

Simply diversify my cryptos to lower the risk of losing it all, and sometimes I just trade with another altcoin. These past months I lose most of my cryptos but it gives me motivation to start again and learn from my mistakes

There is no ideal risk-free scheme in investing and trading, you can either lose a little or not earn a lot. At least I'm good at it.In the bull market, you can engage in daily trade and make money on it, but bear I can not, I think not only I have and many..

The simple way to manage your risk as far as I am concerned is to ensure you do not invest in any ICO projects more than you are willing to loose. If the project eventually turns out to be scam, you will find your self in a tight spot.  In others words, do not invest your life savings in ICO. Then also do not just invest in a project because there is a lot of hype around it on social media and other various platform .  Proper and extensive research on the project before you invest is important.  Of you are in great doubt, meeting up with someone better than you in analysing can reduce your risk too. Two heads they say is better than one.

Well , I think in this market you need to trade only in the short term , as we are still in a bearish trend and still see will fall , and keep the funds are not particularly profitable, and of course you need to trade from 5-10% of the total Deposit!

Every day trading is short term and for now, I think this is more profitable because the market is in good condition. Although trading every day is also risky but very profitable. But sometimes also suffer losses due to wrong in speculating.

Agree short-term trade is now less unprofitable than hold, I think you also need to invest not all the money and about 10-15 percent to keep your Deposit and when the market will unfold then you can already invest all the money

Managing risk is not an easy task.
I try to do it all by pre-thinking and defining for myself the strategy of behavior in the cryptocurrency market in the short term.
And in the course of implementing my ideas, I also plan for the long term.

before investing, I think every investor already knows the risks in the investment and in my opinion, in a big risk, of course, generate large profits and in conditions like now investors must be smart in utilizing every opportunity that will be obtained in his investment

Some advices:
1. invest in a valid project
2. find a good setup to buy
3. diversify capital
4. use the "stop loss" to limit any losses

Well, my strategy has changed A LOT after 2018 lol.
In the past, I had a much higher risk threshhold and made most of my profits from flipping ICOs.
There were some huge losses but huge gains too, I ended up with a much larger portfolio despite some risky investments that didn't turn out.

Now, with the market how it is, I have changed to a strict 5% buy low/sell high strategy.
Whenever I see a price dip, I buy btc then immediately put up a sell order for it for 5% higher.
When it sells, I wait for the next dip, and repeat.

Profit is not astronomical, but it is reliable and steady.
Very low risk but still increasing the value of my portfolio.

I trade strictly with btc and gemini dollars  on Gemini exchange only.
You could do the same on any high volume exchange using usdt (or any other stable coin), but I think tether is really fishy and dubious so I'm doing gemini instead.

I sell coins only on the condition that I can make money on it, or successfully carry out diversification, to buy coins I need to catch a low price during the collapse of the market
