I will also vouch for atari, whilst it did take some time to process a refund he did give me a full refund via Australian bank transfer as requested.
Trust-worthy and would deal with again.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

The 5-unit package is incredibly expensive though.
I wouldn't mind seeing the option to get that price down by dropping the accessories, or overall getting the price more in line with the 10+ packages.

I think a 10-pack is much better value. In in terms of shipping, it works out nicely too.

Hi Atari,

I placed my order without a controller because I prefer to use a Raspberry Pi. But that was a little before you started offering Raspberry Pi as an option.

When you ship with a Raspberry Pi now, is it preconfigured to just work out of the box? Or do you point us at instructions for configuring it?

Note that I'm perfectly comfortable buying my own Raspberry Pi and configuring it. In fact, I kind of prefer to do that because there are specific ways that I like to set things up.

I know there's a thread about setting up Gridseed rigs. Should I just follow those instructions, or do you have specific instructions? Maybe you've got a preferred version of cgminer and a web frontend that you can recommend?

I'd like to preconfigure my the Raspberry Pi so that it's ready before I receive the shipment.

Thanks in advance for some direction.

Was I helpful?   BTC: 3G1Ubof5u8K9iJkM8We2f3amYZgGVdvpHr

I know he is working like crazy on the shipment.
He should be updating you all on it when he gets a bit of time.
Happy Mining.

My Pi will come preloaded with cgminer and a Scripta interface. I will be posting this image on the web so any one can use it. If you can get your own pi then load this image on to it. If you need a PI with this image preloaded just PM me. Smiley

Hi Kapz786, tracking is coming tomorrow. The units arrived in warehouse very late in the evening and missed the cutoff time for dispatch.
