Did anyone received shipping confirmation, who ordered the kit for batch-4 yet?
I am still waiting for mine.
I'm on batch #3 and have been fed a steady stream of broken promises. The latest was that the package would be shipped Wednesday and I would be provided with a tracking number. It is now nearly 8pm Thursday and of course I have not heard anything from him. Escrow dispute period expires in a few hours and I will most likely get my money back from there. Just a warning. If you do this buy, be prepared for delays/flakes and USE ESCROW Hi Almighty, I thought you would have been emailed, but obviously you didn't get it. Your package was dispatched yesterday. Tracking number has been PM to you now. In it we apologise for the failure on our behalf due to unforeseen circumstances. Gridseed has been really slow at delivering my requirement. That is not an an excuse, I know it is still our responsibility. In the PM I have outlined what I offer to make good to you. I have everything required to fill all orders up to date now. Cheers So end result when will Tuesdays batch be shipped? All going out today and tomorrow. |

I have a quick set up question. I noticed that in your pictures, you have 8 units in a column on its side with a single fan at the top. Several of these modules are mounted in a framework.
I plan to deploy my 10 unit kit in a rack in an air conditioned server closet. I'm thinking of a similar layout, but with two columns of 5 units each with a fan on the end of each column. I can deploy these such that the two intake fans will have cold air blowing at them from the AC units.
Will that set up provide enough cooling for these units? I suspect that since your pictures show 8 units that the answer is yes, but I just want to be sure.

Anyone in batch 4 get tracking yet? Batch 5 will probably ship same day as 5 I can confirm I received tracking for batch 4 via pm about 18hrs ago (thanks Atari02!). DHL website has package in the country waiting for delivery, contacted DHL and they confirm package will be delivered first thing Monday morning (its Friday afternoon here in Aus). If your in the US i wouldn't be surprised if you see your units arrive today. |
