I think that depends on the situation and the results of your own analysis of the coins you have. If you think the coin is difficult to recover then selling it is the right choice but if you think the coin can recover and increase then holding it for a while is the right choice. That's very, very normal mate now its up to you on which of them you're gonna believe. But in my opinion, if you believe in long term holding of course the things you are going to do is to hold em patiently until the right times come it reach the high peak level of its value. Then, if not at once you will sell it even your ROI will not be return 100%.

I still believe hold is the best thing we can do in crypto but we need to set the target, when our investment already rise more than 2 or 3 times just sell it and don't be a greedy person's.

That is why there is a crypto-proverb that says, 'Trust no one but yourself'. This is not entirely because others could be wrong but they may not be right as well. My advice is, due to the possibility that the value of a coin could rise with time, you are advice to hold longer as to enjoy more money however, there has also been cases where you hold and in the process,the value drops drastically or in a way you lose, in such a scenario, some people would feel safer selling immediately rather than experience such a condition.
