If it's going to happen, we'll see when it happens. It's not right to just say that without any evidence or without any analysis. No obligation ''events that have occurred in the past year should be this year''. The price prediction without any news depends on your chances.

It will really going to happen mate, we just need to wait for more days to come. December is yet to come so it's not too late to save your holdings. Hold your coins and don't bother selling it just for any bad reasons because of fake news and other non legit media informations due to bearish trend.

For me, I just depend on the situations may bring to all of us here buddy. We really don't know what will going to happen, unless there's a miracle and those big whales will be impress with the market so they'll be able to put up their wealth again to cryptocurrency. Thinking for that before the end of the year is a good motivations, because if it wouldn't happen I guess many people will lose patience as well.
If bull run never exist by the end of this year, then this is a big disappointments of some investor that may be the reason for leaving on crypto, as well it go under collapsed due of lack in demand. But a positive motivation will help for bitcoin consistently grow as well the demand. The more patience we consume, the mere profits we aim.

Is it true that the market usually rises before the end of the year?
If so, why do you think it happens?
I spoke with few people that already said that in the last 5 years the market became really bulish

People predict that way. But since they expect it to happen usually big whales don't want them to ride with it. You just have to wait and be surprise and also be prepared for anything to happen.

People have always had this mindset with last quarter of the year based on past history, but what I only have to say is that using history to judge what the future will hold is not the right way. Sure, it is a good thing to keep it in mind, but at the same time, it is another good thing to always look at the price action to know the possibilities of where the market is actually moving.

This is a behavior that we have seen out of bitcoin and yet I have not seen an explanation that tell us why this happens in a satisfactory manner, but you need to remember that just because that has happened in the last years it doesn't mean that is going to happen again, if you invest money in bitcoin thinking this is going to happen again only to find out that you made a mistake then not only you are going to lose money you could lose confidence in bitcoin as well.

It is just a general expectation of most people and it is not like it is likely to happen or it is a must to see it happen. What I can see at the moment is just the fact that the market is really trying to want to move up, most especially for the altcoins, but the market is generally stalled by the movement of bitcoin as it is.

Now, we have seen rising within the last quarter for years and like they always say, history always find a way of repeating itself, so in that way, I would say the only thing we can do now is just to keep our fingers crossed, but we should not put too much mind into it at the same time.

Bitcoin had been rising in all seasons as well as falling in all seasons too. It just happened that it peaked two times, in 2013 and 2017, close tho the year end. Before the 2016 halving it had been rising all the spring of that year, then it crashed it the summer due to people cashing out just before the halving and because of the Bitfinex hack in early August. After that, the growth that culminated in December 2017 highs had started in the early spring of that year, from levels of a little over $1000. As always, the devil is in paying precious attention to details.

Last year's market was able to rise rapidly at the end of the year because of ICO, but this year the market has no projects that can cause investment boom!

come on in crypto trading or investment a price change that is not in line with expectations is not the end that  is the usual thing that often happens. so basically you should have to know how to manage your expectations so that you are not disappointed and panicked when the changes come and are not appropriate

I don't think it's always true because I see from the price history in 2013 to 2018 there is a moment when the price falls in the beginning of the year and when the end of the year the price is not too up which means it will not be your benchmark.

Market trends often seem to form out of nothing, the first few years may have just been a random bullish period and now people jump on it and assume the same will happen again. If they continue to do that then the price will only rise in Q4. As for a reason there doesn't seem to be much of a logical one, perhaps just a seasonal thing that people tend to have a little more spare money around that time of year, in some countries you receive double pay in the month of December.

No, it is not. It happened once and also there was end of years where the price didn't moved at all as well. Back when the price went up to 1400 before the mtgox deals and it dropped to 200ish dollars during late November or so, which means one of the biggest drops came during last months of the year.

We have seen one of the biggest drops in bitcoin history during the end of the year and we have seen the biggest increase ever at the end of the year as well, bitcoin can do anything at the end of the year and there is no possibility of considering it will always be the same every single year.
No I don’t think so because the previous year bump was totally unnatural and that is the reason that it collapsed after a couple of months. Now the price is again in the same situation as it was in the previous year. Now people again expect that the price will blow again and they will make thousands of dollars against each bitcoin. Be cool and wait for the future.

For bitcoin last year increased at the end of the year because in 2017 bitcoin was at its peak and made people interested in buying. I think for the end of this year there is no certainty that bitcoin will be high, because this year is the year of recovery for bitcoin.

Yes, the market usually rises before the end of the year. Hold your coins and wait for the right time.

That is why, most of the guys from this Forum and those ones that simply deal with the cryptos, are not going to sell their alts and Bitcoins. Everybody is waiting when December comes and brings the bull run.

It isn't a black friday deal where you get discount guarantee (and oppositely price rise of bitcoin), nor new year's anniversary profit day. There was a facts when market had rise and opposite, no one can predict what will happen, just imagine if you win it's because others lose. Bitcoin changes price easily so it can rise/fall at any moment, that fact, what you wrote in your title is a little bit adorable in people.

Well their is a huge chance that the market could usually rising before year ends. Many of us also hoping for it to happen and to see the market in good or bullish trend. Anyway, I just hope this year ends could be more surprises to the users.

But make this year different because of what had happen last year as the value really grows unbelievable

With the price of $20,000 per bitcoin and all the altcoins even grow higher,I believe that we’re still under recovery as that season called being bubbles

Maybe it’s better to wait what would happen since we’re too far from the end year

Well, from what I have witnessed so far it happen 2017 towards the end of December of that year and which may likely happen this year but not to the turn or height of last year though. I will attribute such increase to the fact that people really want meet up with their end of the year/Christmas demand and that will push them to look for where they can make fast profit from their investment and that was why they invest in crypto currency market at a time like this.
This is not even just about 2017, this is something that could happen in any year and for one thing last year was a bull market and this is a bear year and I would rather not be too fixated on a Q4 movement but instead watch the price action and act on it as the case may be.

It is really hard to tell honestly, based on the fact that the market is not predictable, and in that case, I would expect the worst as much as I am expecting the best. We still have few months to end the year and if the market goes bullish, I believe it is something we will all end up seeing anyway.

if I look at the history of cryptocurrency prices from a few years ago every end of the year cryptocurrency prices will usually go up again and will become very expensive.

I think that ending of the year not affecting the market. If in the end of 2017 were pumps - that doesn't mean that it will happen in the end of 2018.
