Twitter is just a part of media like print / electronic or social media including Facebook; linkedin ; You Tube etc.  And each type of report on any type of media has effect on the price of bitcoin.  When there are positive news the price goes up and in case they spread negative news then the price falls.

That is true, I mean, much like other social media platforms where people go in and spend most of their time these days, it presents a medium where people can market and introduce to many others whatever thing, or in this case, business venture they are trying to advertise. Comparable to Facbook, Instagram and other similar platforms, it has been a big part of many businesses these days.
According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Twitter can't affect the price of bitcoin, yet i can help promoting bitcoin in public specially in social media. Through this referral program using twitter. Many investors willing to trade depend on how they promote thier product.

I don't think that this is kind of true, its because even if the price goes upward, a lot of people in social media would likely to spread false news or articles about BTC and in that case I don't think that Twitter or any platform would likely to give a major EFFECT on the price of BTC, I just wish that more positivity would spread out in these social media platforms.

in my opinion it's not just twitter that affects the price of bitcoin, other social media also have an influence such as facebook, telegram etc. because the news is very quickly spread because of social media

I believe that the market is still in the growth phase where it is not matured enough and investors (mostly newbies) decide their investment decisions considering sentiments through social media and news websites. It is not a recommended way to do research to take decisions wholly based on the dynamic social media platforms including Twitter. However, these social media websites cause panic selling/buying environment sometimes.

Hello guys!

I am a researcher studying how messages in twitter affects the price, for my thesis. I am currently creating a library grading unique expresions and words that are used in cripto and trading environments.

I am looking for people that have trading experience and want to help me grade these words. It is only about 40 words and it wont take much of your time. In exhange for the great help I am offering the study once it is finished.

If someone is interested, contact me at jaime.badiolaramos@gmail.com

I think the words itself in the tweets doesn't directly affect the prices of bitcoin. However, the number of positive impacts will improve the state of bitcoin among other social media platforms. Thus, it affects the overall demand as it can attract investors and potential buyers.

Social media don't affect the price. The news affect it and social media only allow the news to quickly get to a large audience. Social media for the Internet now is what the television was for people in the 80s and 90s. The main source of information evolved from newspapers into radio, television, and finally social media and Internet tv.

Beyond Twitter! I think every social media site/channel on which news propagates, affects the price of not just $Bitcoin but alts too! FOMO and FUD spreads fast along these channels I have watched the price of a coin go 1000x after a few twits and YouTube reviews, if it isn't for social media where else would news spread fastest?! Over 90% of young people do little of news sites as much as the do social media, so Twitter is just one of such price movers!

One communication tool that many users have, namely social media, and what is called Twitter, is indeed a lot of news circulating through this media. The news that circulated was also in accordance with what was made by the spreader, so it was influential with the news so that those who saw were able to conclude that it had an effect on bitcoin or not, what was certain was that the news delivered had expanded.

Twitter is a separate social network, and you can only post short messages. This is one of the only social networks for advertising and looking for investors. A great follow-up Twitter user can get a sharp image of Bitcoin.

I think twitter is social media that have big effects in crypto world. Compared with linkedin, reddit, or anything else, people in twitter can get news easily and it almost every influencer talk about crypto, really affects on market.

Twitter just like any other social media where people visit on a daily basis has a way of influencing the price of bitcoin because many big investors rely on Twitter as their source of crypto news

How exactly does this research work? Something similar I saw in publications on special resources in Spain, but the results of the experiment unfortunately were not published. Perhaps they are published now and it is necessary to check before you start your research. So as not to do the extra work

Social media not only Twitter can greatly affect bitcoin or cryptos' market capitalization and price. I believe other social networking sites like Facebook can also deliberately affect the price of crypto as it is a good way of spreading the good news about crypto across the globe.

Twitter Inc. said it would ban crypto currency advertising, selling tokens. Twitter joined Facebook Inc. and Google's parent, Alphabet Inc. to ban the sale of crypto currencies.

Twitter is not banning Cryptocurrency mate they are banning those people who is abusing Twitter they are not following the rules, you know some people don't care about the rules of any social media they are spamming there post if they are ban they will complain.

You're right. But not only Twitter but also Facebook. Telegram, Reddit, Youtube and others kind of social media can affect to the price of bitcoin. Bitcoin's price will go up or down depending on the negative or positive news of bitcoin.

It can affect a lots to the price of Bitcoin. Negative and fake news can make the price go down without any reason.
