The fact that XRP can be used for real life payments is not a reason to long XRP. XRP is centralized. It's against the nature of decentralization and cryptos.

Yes. This is indeed a good sign but I think in order for us to remove the doubt in people about the things in cryptocurrency, it shouldn't just be XRP alone pushing forward. Other good coins should be pushed as well in order for big companies or big business people accept cryptocurrency as a payment.

It is possible, I see many company and bank accept XRP as a payment method, transaction fee is low and transation speed is fast. Beside XRP, I think XLM, NTY can be payment currency also

And then which one? Because there was no a news that has been reporting it right now and it would better for you to give at least some examples about which are companies accepting ripple as a payment system.

You got the point. If only one of the cryptocurrency is widely accepted in payment, the majority would TRUST the value of cryptocurrency. I hope  XRP could be the pioneer.

you can use PayPal and VISA and credit cards and banks and ... for real payments too and it is much easier to trust the companies behind those instead of trusting the Ripple Foundation. and in their essence these are all the same centralization but with different risks and different level of acceptance. the first bunch are accepted in a lot of places around the world and since their companies are transparent it is easier to trust them but the XRP doesn't have that transparency in their company and they have done some shady scamy stuff in the past enough not to trust them.

I don't want to underestimate significance of this occasion (which is indeed very important for the whole cryptocurrency industry), but in the end Ripple is strongly centralized cryptocurrency with several unanswered questions about market manipulation.

XRP  has been in the move since the beginning. It has been partnering with various banks in order to be used as a payment platform.
Several banks since then have adopted the XRP technology in their platforms. It is also undergoing further development which is why the market is filled with positive news for XRP. This is the reason why the price and market cap of XRP has been increasing lately.

Yes XRP can now used to pay our bills here in my country, i do not think if in other country this crypto can be used for payments or in other things that can be spend,. Our government already support crypto currency that is why our local bitcoin wallet rather local crypto wallet easily adding some altcoin that have potential to be useful in the future also to have more option which coin we can used and hold.

This is still not enough. You can use Litecoin in ten times more, Dash, Monero in many more, even you can use Dogecoin in more places, and the point is, XRP having 3 companies is all because of their marketing.

But you are right, as long as merchant adoption starts and grows, then the altcoin has hope. This is still a big problem for XRP that even with all the push and marketing they cannot do much. xRapid is live but no one is using it. Unlike Lightning Network were still beta testing but many shops.

Yes, maybe it will be more expensive in the future. I don't know how the future of the same stellar coin is. They are very similar, but YouTube supports XRP payments.

Well, I always knew that Ripley is suitable for swift transfer, but due to the fact that the price is not very stable I think this prevents lydat use it for example as a dolar!
