It makes you loose valuable assests that could be of very important and necessary panic would make do some many things and would be your worse mistakes  ever and may not be corrected do not panic
Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Yes, it is not just about you selling or holding, it is mire of not selling because of any form of fear, because it makes one to make hasty decisions and by doing that, such decisions are most times wrong and may cost us a lot.

I've seen some mathematical calculations here recently where you lose more if you don't sell when you fall. Look, it's quite an interesting article.

But that depends on how deep the chart of altcoin goes. I have seen that so many times when someone was trying to sold their shares on the bearish market with the hopes he can take another bottom but after that there was a rebound on its price and then that makes sense if that will be involved a very high risk.

All that the author of topic writes about in his narration are the symptoms that are typical for beginners. Any newcomer goes through these mistakes in order to later become much more experienced and ready for any incidents.

It is a risk the panic experienced by everyone. but many who may not think long right up to the stage of being too afraid of the circumstances that might make them losers. It is a safe way that they do for selling a panic from plunging too deep into the fall of market prices.

My only reason for selling what I have in crypto are the following:
1. I need fiat in the next coming weeks.
2. I am repositioning / cleaning up. I noticed that the value of a coin or token I'm holding may take time before it recovers and I see a project with excellent progress and will be in a better position to rise above the market faster.
3. Need to preserve value. I sell my coins and exchange it to USDT, USD Coin or TUSD to preserve value if I feel that there will be a possibility of another market bloodbath. This move preserves value without converting your crypto to fiat and I can easily move back in to purchase what I sold.

My simple is it's not a good deal, i'm not stupid to sell my token in damn low price. I can hold for months to sell at high price, it's worth my works. Buy more at lower price (DCA) is a good way to make higher profit in cryptocurrency market.

One of the peculiar attributes of most crypto enthusiasts is selling out of panic. Whenever this happens, it is accompanied by some flaws and setbacks. Reasons why you should avoid selling out of panic are:

1. Dump in price - Sometimes, it does not affect the price of the coin you are dumping alone, it can also affect the general market prices coins, most especially when there is massive dump of prominent coins such as, bitcoin, ethereum and so on.

2. Loss of Investment - you are likely going to loose your investment, because most times, when you panic sell, you sell at lower prices than required. Your profit might be affected, so also your invested capital.

3. Attack on blockchain technology - it might call on attacks on blockchain technology from different quarters. You begin to see people spread more negative news about blockchain and cryptocurrency. For instance, people may begin to talk of crash, scam and so on.

4. Emotional Imbalance: panic alongside the accompanying losses might lead to emotional imbalance in some investors and afterwards the resulting effect on health, such as hypertension and other health implications.

Some people attribute FUDs and perhaps regulations to most of these flaws, which are not. Even though there are FUDs being spread, if we do not panic, the crypto space will be a safe haven for investment.
How many proposed regulations these days have really been implemented? So, why are we bothering ourselves? Some countries such as China, that even succeeded in some of their regulations, does not seem to avoid the crypto world in entirety.

Those who cause panic mainly know that most people cannot control it. Which is why those who take advantage of it, use it as a weapon in the crypto space for their gains.

Note:
I am not telling you not to sell whenever you notice there is going to be bearish market, but take your time to relax and think about it, make your calculations and if you are sure there will be bearish market, sell and buy back when you are also sure it is low enough.

For this - Loss of Investment

I think alot people actually got into a real panic moment when market crash
Regardless if they make loss, their mindset is more off : As long as i don't loss more than that in the future, i am okay with the loss.
Hence, when the market actually recovered they will be like Damn, i should not sell it. xd

This is just all educative for both novice and those that have been I'm the business for a long time. Temptations would come sometimes like you even ask yourself why am holding this for so many months while there is no pump price not even thinking it's generally and you may decide to sell,  when the market gets back to normal in general,  you regret selling. Avoid selling out of panic

For those who do not need to rush selling or panic selling, we also need to think about what might happen to be the price of bitoin. so do not let us just think.

they should first find out why they panic. mostly they panic because they can't afford to lose their investment as a result when price go down they also sell. so before they start to invest they should only invest what they can afford to lose so when price dump they don't panic.

Unprepared investors come to the market, we have few places to teach this, many do not want to learn. This is business, the weak don't belong here. Many tales of quick riches bring random people. The main rule of investing is money-time. It takes either a lot of money and little time, or little money, but a lot of time to get a large income.

When everyone else is in panic sell mode you should be doing opposite and instead buying in when your emotions tell you to run.

There is no wrong or right answer to anything, but panic actions are the worst case of scenario. If you know you get those, consider other options or create a strategy, to which you hold on to. If you don't focus enough on this, you'll land into trouble.
