I have updated the tables on the first page.

As I can see, two users who were recently unbanned have returned to the DT1 group.

There are currently 93 user on the DT1 list, 7 of them are excluded by other DT1 members. All DT1 members trust 446 DT2 members.

Congrats to those who made it onto the list and thank you Coin-1 for alerting me of this via your post.  I haven't been paying much attention to who's on DT lately.

You're welcome. As the list of DT1 members changes every month, I am also interested in these trust ratings. I think that the Marketplace Trust system is now more decentralized.

You seem to have the only DT3 list doing the 'rounds - do you have a full DT3 list at all?

TOP-200 most trusted members has been updated.

This month another 64 users were added to the DT2 list. All DT1 members currently trust 437 DT2 members.

Yes, I have a full list of DT3 members which currently contains 641 users. Those who set their trust depth to 3 see the feedback left by the DT3 member as trusted by default.

I updated three tables on the first page of this thread.

Currently, there are 87 DT1 members and 413 DT2 members on these lists.

I was astonished that this month theymos is only a DT2 member. He was eligible to be included in the DT1 group, but it seems that a random function did not select him to the list of 100 users. Undoubtedly, the forum administrator who obeys the common rules looks very honest.

It’s a random algorithm that each month rotates those eligible for DT in & out.

There are only 100 DT1 allowed each month & there are quite a fair few more eligible to be DT1 (something like 125-130). The excess over 100 get randomly selected to be rotated out & unless they’re really unlucky they get rotated back in the next month, only a few have been randomly excluded in consecutive months.

Those rotated out are still DT2!

Monthly update.

All active 89 DT1 members currently trust 459 DT2 members.

By the way, this month theymos returned to the DT1 group and again took first place. Cool

Wow! Now I am a new DT1 member! I am proud to be rated 62nd on the first list of the most trusted users. Good luck to other DT members!

Those rotated out are still DT2!

I know about this rotation of DT members. I think that the random function is a good solution to decentralize the trust system. As a result, the user should be trusted by many DT1 members and must not be distrusted by other DT1 members in order to stay on the DT group for months.

Since theymos updated the list of DT1 members, I have actualized this TOP-200.

At the moment, there are 91 DT1 members, 463 DT2 members and 708 DT3 members. This month 131 candidates were eligible, so several new users have been selected into the DT1 group.

Well, wonder know how many "used to be trusted" members are kicked from the list for scamming other users...
Trust system should be seen as a way to avoid scammers not to trust members.
Unfortunately one consequence of reputation systems is that you give people an asset which is most valuable if used for scamming.  So in a free market we shouldn't be surprised that high reputation accounts often eventually scam.  The fact that scamming is illegal/against the rules, etc. makes it less of a free market, but since scammers seldom suffer major consequences, the behaviour persists.

I think insurance would be a much better solution than reputation systems, but unfortunately people underestimate their risks of being scammed so they're not interested in paying the kind of fees that would be necessary to make in interesting for people to offer insurance for trades.

Currently 89 DT1 members trust 494 DT2 members.

Insurance is undoubtedly a better solution, but a reputation system is also important, in my opinion.

This is a good point.
A 5% escrow fee or a  minimum $10  in fees.  Would seem excessive to most. Yet the amount of work to escrow can be two hours maybe three hours for a single escrow of goods.

It is about 20 minutes to fully explain the rules for an escrow.

You need to exchange multiple pm’S to correctly explain it.

Scammers work in unison against escrow providers.  There are days I get a dozen pms asking for escrows. I spend one or two hours time answering and explaining to the questions.
Then every deal falls out. I lose two hours or one hour in time that day.
Even if every deal was to have happened Maybe I would get 30 dollars. Since every deal was small .

So I don’t want to bother as much to do escrows. Not to mention the pm threats about catching a scammer the day before. So you get discouraged

As of Saturday, May 2, 2020, when the latest dump of the trust system was published, 94 DT1 members trust 460 DT2 members.

This month LoyceV returned to the DT1 group and took first place in this TOP-200. Cool

It seems that scammers perform "DDOS attacks" by sending a large number of PMs and offering fake deals in order to waste the time of trusted members who provide escrow services on the forum. Smiley

Since DT1 log has been updated yesterday, I renewed all the lists on the first page of this thread.

As of Saturday, June 6, 2020, there are 88 members in the DT1 group, 12 users have been excluded by other DT1 members. All DT1 members trust 416 DT2 members.

According to DT update log, 140 users were eligible to win the DT1 lottery. As I can see, the number of candidates for DT1 is increasing every month by +10.

Your list and update isnt right.
A few users got kicked straight after the list from theymos was posted.
Im on mobile now but you will find them if you looking in the thread default trust changes.
Guess its 3-5 users that got kicked out of default trust.

Monthly update.

The DT1 list was updated yesterday, so there was another rotation. Some DT1 members have been moved to the DT2 group, some DT2 members have returned to the DT1 group.

88 DT1 members currently trust 435 DT2 members.

I noticed that fewer users (128) were eligible to become DT1 members this month.

Those lists were relevant for Saturday morning (UTC) when the dump of the Marketplace Trust system was published. Yes, the DT1 list is constantly changing, some users were immediately excluded by other DT1 members using tildes. I understand who you are talking about. This TOP-200 is based on weekly snapshots "trust.txt.xz".

I just remember a thing with one of the users here being one of the trusted DT users. Bafoeng, this user could be a maintenance or something used to hold handheld radio with a china brand name bafoeng.

Anyway, I had seen a huge list of DT members here and it is amazing to see some users done quite well and becoming trusted DT members.

I have updated all lists on the main page of this thread.

This month the number of eligible candidates was restored from 128 to 140, but only 100 members (71%) were elected to the DT1 group. I see new users involved in the Marketplace Trust system.

Currently 89 DT1 members trust 457 DT2 members.

I know about low-range Bafoeng two-ways radios, but I never heard of such user on Bitcointalk. I just tried to search for "Bafoeng", but there are no matches found.

Yesterday theymos published the new list of DT1 members, so I updated all the tables on the first page of this topic.

The number of users who can be elected to the DT1 group looks stable. I see new names in the main table every month. The trust system is more decentralized. It's good.

As of now, 87 active DT1 members trust 462 DT2 members.

The new full list of DT1 members was published on November 1, 2020, therefore all tables on the front page of this thread have been updated as well. Please note that the data is current as of last Saturday, October 31, 2020.

Some new users were elected to the DT1 group for the first time. Perhaps for this reason, the total number of DT2 members has increased to 496. This month only 8 DT1 candidates were expelled by other DT1 members.

LoyceV scored 53 points from active DT1 members and 83 points from DT2 members, making him again the leader of this TOP-200. Cool

Hey @Coin-1, first time seeing myself on DT1 list and I noticed that you marked  me as 'Legendary" (33rd on the list) but unfortunately I am still quite far from that. Same thing goes for a few other members that I know are still not Legendary (Ratimov and dkbit98).

edit: disregard that previous comment, I just saw few other names that are also not yet Legendary and I realized that you marked the same all those with 1000+ merit earned. My bad.
