I do not think Government is hostile to bitcoin.  I believe they accepted the technology it brings (blockchain) but several things are unknown to them (government) and with that, they tend to protect their citizen since in the early years of bitcoin, it was  used in different illegal activities and those who exploit the "bitcoin as investment ideas" and scammed people give Bitcoin a negative impression.  But little by little government gets to know what bitcoin and its technology is and begins to embrace it by simply regulating bitcoin exchanges to protect their citizen.

The procedures that bitcoin acquired in the past years are the result of it's solidity. There are disastrous events that happened in bitcoin, government banned and regulated it to their country. It used in illegal activities and the worst, when bitcoin dropped drastically. But because of bitcoin, our system of currency develops.

Bitcoin is definetely an internation currency. I think not all governments are trying to stop and illegalize Bitcoin since they know it’s part of the innovation to use digital currencies for payment. I believe that sooner or later it’ll be more widely use by the people because it’s more convenient and secured.

It is true that Bitcoin is a digital currency that cannot be controlled by any institution until now bitcoin transactions are recorded only in the big book, Blockchain, because bitcoin is made as a substitute for the FIAT currency which is always controlled by the government. And its main purpose is to facilitate financial transactions around the world in just a few minutes and the shipping costs are very cheap. And in my opinion bitcoin is a tremendous innovation in this century.
