actually it's good if the government starts accepting cryptocurrency because it will make the country become more developed and more advanced, imagine if trading in its country can receive payments using cryptocurrency it will make its country more famous and certainly the economic conditions in its country will be better because there will be lots of transactions in and out of the country.

no system can get rid of bad market participants. it will always be, just where it will help to ease the way to detect such participants

Some governments who are those countries with lots of corruption don't accept bitcoin because they can not profit from it because bitcoin's private and anonymous. But sometimes governments use bitcoin to buy weapons like guns, firearms for military platforms like North Korea.

I think its not legalized yet because once legalized it will be under lot of scrutiny maybe by special elected bodies. But now, its a perfect path for them to conduct illegal and dirty activities. So, it is more beneficial for them that bitcoin stays unofficial. Also, they might be thinking of possible market instability, however, once legalized I think there will be more stable market.
It does not seem that politicians are not accepting bitcoin because of the crimes they think they can commit with it, they already have the banking system and their connections to do that, after all how do you think that people are able to launder billions of dollars every year? They are doing this with the help of the banks, so bitcoin is not going to help them that much especially when the market is so small compared to fiat.

They are not accepting cryptocurrencies because they understand that they will lose control over the population if they do that and governments do not really care about the well being of their citizens, they only care about the control they have over them, so they prefer a poor and ignorant population that is easy to control than an educated and prosperous population.

Mind-blowing thinking, I never thought in this way. Governments should accept cryptocurrencies, but they will not accept it in the major sector. Because Governments and corruptions are like twin brother! I am not sure, If the opposite party knows well about how cryptocurrency works, then they will commit procession to accept cryptocurrencies in the major money transferring sectors  Grin

waves of investors continue to grow with or without their support, one day this volume will also have an impact on fiat with a negative connotation, at least the government must continue to do research and try to apply it to the public sphere. Nobody really can be prevented from using the internet. The government must keep making it in accordance with their economic corridors.

Governments if not but if they allow that people of the country can use it openly then it's means that governments is accepting bitcoin and with this many charges for transactions through banks can be minimized the cost and if instead of governments if big businesses allow bitcoin for transactions then bitcoin will flow for better economies.
well, so much consideration for the current government. however, I think the government's support at this time is only issuing regulations regarding the development of that usage limit. well, the current development is quite good, but there are some countries that ban bitcoin. development is certainly for economic development.
true, there are still many countries that forbid bitcoin if this is thought correctly, the government will benefit from economic development. I think this will have a positive impact.

Indeed, the emergence of Bitcoin can be used for illegal purposes. But if the government starts working with Bitcoin, they can control everything. The only negative is the lack of central authority and control, as it is decentralized.

I think what you say is true because some of these countries have committed a lot of corruption, so that it will damage the country, but when cryptocurrency is used in the government it will make the government and financial conditions in the country be slightly disrupted because they cannot do money laundering again.

Cryptocurrency is growing and is known as the new economic sector. You can see that if the government accepts Crypto and applies the tax to it, they can make a considerable profit. This will give the government the benefit it deserves.

We are led to believe that almost all governments are corrupt and that most officials and even leaders of the world are bought.

We saw this for instance with the US elections where rumours are doing the rounds that massive amounts of money were channelled from foreign countries to influence the outcome of the election. This money had to be laundered through shell companies via Banks and complex money laundering systems.

All of this leaves paper trails and this can later be followed and investigated to find the true origin of this money.

Now think about this, why would "corrupt" governments want to appose Bitcoin and Crypto currencies, if they can use it to hide their "corrupt" practices? Would it not make sense just to allow it and then use it to further their political aspirations?

The push back from these corrupt governments does not make any sense. Could it be that they know that Bitcoin and Crypto currencies are not "anonymous" at all and that these transactions can be traced and for this reason they are apposed to it?

Curious to know what you are thinking.  Wink
It's political, because the majority of these corrupt politicians are using cryptocurrencies in one way or the other. As I'm telling you now there was a time not long ago, 6-7 months ago, a senator in my country claims about owning some decent about of bitcoins on his social media account. They all use it, but they don't want people to know about it. They'll never to legalize cryptocurrencies because they don't want people to understand its truth power and values.

Not all government are against cryptocurrency. At least in the west countries in Europe are developed countries that have allowed bitcoin to be used by vendors and merchants. Though most government are corrupt but it don't take all of them to use bitcoins to aid them in their corrupt dealings.

I think that politicians do not care whether to accept or not to accept cryptocurrency. The point is in the value and benefit. If politicians adapt to the cryptocurrency market and begin to understand cryptocurrency, then I am sure that they will not mind. Especially if they see their own benefit in this.

Governments should accept bitcoin because it has the potential to give opportunities especially to those unemployed people. It can also give a lot of benefits. In fact it can also make their economy to rise. But of course we cant demand the government to accept bitcoin.

Government knows that cryptocurrency may disrupt the corruption through out the world. In fact, they don't want it to change the currency because they want to hide their shady things to the citizen, they just make excuses the scam that may harm the people. Well, if they want to have decentralized society, they must see cryptocurrency as positive way.

One of the major reason that developing countries does not accept bitcoin or crypto today because still they don't have proper understanding regarding the concept and how crypto works and they are just following the same foot step what america and other majority of major countries does regarding cryptocurrencies which are restrict or ban but some are like Switzerland keep an open mind policy towards bitcoin and crypto because they have understood the potential of them and definitely in the future many will follow that path

If the government wants to take any other changes are given a chance to develop their economy then they definitely accept cryptocurrency but it may take some time because the economical situation of the government will be very difficult to understand and accept cryptocurrency that's why they killing them otherwise cryptocurrencies will not give any other problem by the economic changes for any other government.

if the government wants to accept bitcoin it might help the holders, because we really need parties who are able to regulate the security of bitcoin

true. And in my opinion that's the main reason why some of the government nowadays are interested and gradually accepting bitcoin as a payment method .because of being so useful . And probably soon in the future it can be use in everything especially in our daily basis, unless if all government approve it as well and stop banning crypto currency .
