I hope the ice lasts too!!  I do have a tracking number but , unfortunately I am at work all night and I do not have the tracking number with me. I can get it to you tomorrow. Hopefully the package will arrive tomorrow and the tracking number will be irrelevant. I am going to do some homework and be certain to put enough dry ice in next time. Thanks for your patience as I am getting this off of the ground.

Cooked the steaks up tonight and they were delicious. My son who is in preschool ate 2/3's of 1 of these bad boys. Thick cut, great marbling, one of the best steaks I've ever eaten.

I received my samples today. There was enough dry ice, but its still very cold here. I will post my review once I have had a chance to cook them. If the previous reviews are an indicator I will certainly be a customer.

Original Poster did give an email for more information.  This is a touchy topic for numerous reasons that come to my mind.  People are wanting to be sure they are getting a high quality safe product and I'm sure the seller is trying to avoid any legal issues that may come along with selling his product for BTC.  

I was excited by this thread and I'd love to see high quality organic products being sold for Bitcoin.  If folks to try the product please post a review, thanks

14:30 got a call at work from home that the meat package arrived.

Me: "How do you know it is the meat package?"
Son: "Because when I opened the door the mailman said "Be careful. It's bleeding"."

I ran home to check it out and to see if it was still cold.  The steaks were nicely wrapped in butchers paper, the ground beef was in those ground beef plastic bags.  All were put into a larger zip-lock bag (which was not sealed).  Then everything was put into a Styrofoam shipping container and put into a cardboard box.

Knowing previously that there was the possibility of not enough dry ice in the shipments, and that for some reason, it took an extra day to get to me, I expected that it wouldn't arrive frozen.

The meat was completely thawed, not warm, but not cold.  With the leakage all over the box and in the package I checked for any bad odors.  There were none.

Had there been enough dry ice and a sealed zip-lock bag, this would have been exactly what was expected.

I would recommend always giving the tracking number to the recipient.  I was at the post office 3 times yesterday dropping off honey and caramels.  Had I had the tracking number I might have been able to have picked it up earlier.  Also it helps reduce stress for the paying customers letting them know that things are on their way.

I think this looks promising!  Hope this works out for you.

Edit: zip-lock bag was from my wife who opened the box and put the meat in the bag before putting it in the frigde.

i dont think hes gonna ship anymore free samples he got enough good reviews already just got to work on shipping it ealier in the day and the website and prob alittle more dry ice

Later that evening I opened up the T-bone and Rib Eye steaks, and they looked and smelled fine.  I figured they had recently thawed out and were ready to go. (We did throw out the ground beef).

15 year old son tried a new steak sauce.  Equal amounts of red cooking wine and honey, lots of freshly ground pepper, and several crushed garlic cloves.  He served it with steamed vegetables (broccoli, bell pepper, onions, and mushrooms) with a honey wine vinegar drizzled over it.  Also some wheat bread just out of the oven with lots of honey.

Turned out a very good meal.  The meat was fine, glad we didn't toss it out!  There were two of each type of steak, thick slices, and it fed 6 people.

If I had not bought a 1/2 a cow (with bitcoins  ) a week before this thread was created, and didn't have a friend locally who I buy from, I would consider buying from andelin before purchasing from the grocery store.

Figuring out how to ship a perishable item is a tricky thing and I consider the problems of this first run not to be an issue.  I think everyone can order from andelin without worrying about it being a scam.

We meant to take some pictures, but we were pretty hungry and it smelled really good once it was cooked...and we forgot to grab the camera.

No need to send a replacement shipment to us.  Thanks for sharing.
