Legendary spamming "good project" and one-liner spam.

This thread is not just for the particular case below but also for such Legendaries in general as they are quite a few.

I came across yet another Legendary spamming with one-liner low effort/quality content.
For the newbies such behaviour is acceptable in the beginning as they are not so familiar with the forum but for Legendaries this should be more than clear that such content will not be tolerated.

I'm assuming he's getting paid to bump threads, but who knows.  I have a hard time believing he'd write those garbage posts out of genuine enthusiasm--and yes, a legendary member ought to know better, but it's quite possible the account was bought or hacked.  There's no evidence of that being the case, but I would never rule that out.

He deserves the same consequence as any person who makes "great project" posts, which if I'm not mistaken is a ban.  It shouldn't matter what his rank is.  Also, it's no surprise he hasn't earned any merit.  It's a Legendary account, but he seems to be a zero-value member.

I'm not quite sure but the "Good project" newbies get only the posts deleted but not a ban (permaban), this is from my own experience.

Many ranked member's involved with paid bumping. It's difficult for to believe that they are not getting paid although we don't have evidence. Most likely they have a team to do this kind of work. Obviously I report this kind of post even legendary or newbie. Look like he has been plagiarizing, means he should be ban.

If he doesn't get banned, he probably at least deserves having negative trust in my opinion. A lot of people are aiming for such rank(both for monetization or coolness purposes) and here he is posting random crap.

Probably because rules weren't that strict back in the day, though I really don't know. People probably barely checked on his post history as he had a high rank anyway.

Worst of all, many newbies "take a cue" from such legendary users. Having such precedents before their eyes, they see no point in writing decent posts, because you can write shit and still be in good forum positions. Such "high rank members" do much more harm than it might seem at first glance. Not only do they clog threads, they also become the unspoken "leaders" of the spam-shit-posting movement. They have many followers who aren`t responsible for their actions, because they put it on their headman. And while we are "reporting to moderator" and "ignoring" newbie-spammers, who are actually just pawns in this game, the forum is drowning in shit posts due to such "legendary pacemakers." If we really want to reduce spam on the bitcointalk, we need to fight, first of all, with the leaders of such gangs.

Nice catch, can't believe people don't know how valuable is Legendary account since it could bring you money above monthly salary if you join signature campaign or average income (yearly) if you sold the account in some 3rd world/developing country.

As far as I know, most Mods can't ban Legendary members. I barely use "Report to moderator" for plagiarism, it usually leads to the post being deleted instead of the user getting banned.

I always report them with a link to the "proof" post and til now all got banned in a matter of minutes/hours.
This one took around 2 days to be handled, I reported it on 15th one day after Veleor posted the proof.

From time to time , i come across low quality legendaries or Hero members which suprises me but those are putting few sentences together, this one cant even do that,he is a special specimen.

Those post should be deleted and my view is that he should be banned for posting for some time as a warning.

I don't know about banning but he has 61 posts deleted, this should be enough warning.
