Ethereum offers so much more than Ripple in every metric, with also a stronger developer community, so it's only natural that

ETH decidedly overtakes XRP and expands on its lead...
True, it has a bigger community that XRP so I am not seeing it will be left out in the market.
It will take the lead among altcoins and it doesn't matter if it will go down in rank, it will always come back and lead again.
ETH has been so bullish in the past, I'm pretty sure we will see that again and I'm really excited how this year will end, this year IMO we started good so far.
There’s a high competition in this market but ETH will always make way to come back stronger and regain its position on the top 2 spot. ETH is a big coin and a coin like XRP can’t take over ETH easily, for sure ETH will stay on that for a long time and have some rest and back again on the top.

Confident overtaking is not particularly seen, by the standards of the market between them is quite a slight difference, but the Ethereum in the future should only further increase the gap, the project is stronger and more promising

The consistency at with Ripple keeps trying to take over Ethereum's position on the coinmarketcap makes me feels that it may really happen and Ethereum will lose it's seat. And if this happens for real, it might become easy for others too
