LTC or ETH, what good to own now??

I don’t see nothing wrong with having both as long as you have the money to divide and invest in the both of them. And that would even be the best as you would be dividing the money and hoping that profit comes from anyone of them. If one fails, the other is likely not going to be the same way. They are both in the list of the best coins there is in the cryptocurrency market, so they are worth giving a try. Though most of the predictions I have been seeing are saying that if there’s going to be a Bull run, ETH is likely to be part of it.

I don't think Vitalik did something wrong with Ethereum, and I also don't want to fall into arguements with you here. If you (or others) don't like Ethereum, just staying away from Ethereum. If you (or others) fall in love with Litecoin, just buying it as much as possible. Personally, I assess both Ethereum and Litecoin are good altcoins to invest, but Litecoin actually increased very significantly from its bottom around 0.008 BTC till its price today.
