LTC imo is good now because there will be halving on august 6. Many expect it's price will reach 180usd, some even say 200usd is possible so I have many of it now. Eth is good to because some expert says uptrend will happen soon. So it's up to you what you want.
Actually between ltc and ethereum both are not bad for us to invest. when the upward trend occurs. indirectly it will certainly have an effect. and also for us as traders the volume is pretty good. Transaction fees from low LTC are very suitable for payments and the developed Projeck ethereum proves its success

I would say both, why don't you split the amount you want to invest and invest in both ETH and LTC. I hope both the coin will generate you great profit considering the potential both coins have.

I also agree that both coins are beautiful.  Because both are progressive and I am sure that investments in them will bring profit.  But still more invested in ethereum.

Winklevoss Twins' Gemini Crypto Exchange Gets Regulatory Green Light for Litecoin Trading

U.S.-based cryptocurrency exchange Gemini, owned by the Winklevoss twins, has sealed regulatory approval to add Litecoin (LTC) custody and trading. The news comes from an official Medium blog post published Friday, Oct. 12.

Gemini’s vice president of engineering, Eric Winer, informs Gemini traders that they can begin depositing Litecoin into their exchange accounts as of 9:30 am EDT Saturday, Oct. 13. Litecoin trading will reportedly go live Tuesday, October 16th at 9:30 am EDT.

The coin is set to be the fourth crypto supported on the platform, alongside Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Zcash (ZEC). Consequently, LTC trading pairs will be available against all three cryptos, as well as against the U.S. dollar.

Winer’s post underscores Gemini’s thoroughgoing “banking compliance and fiduciary obligations” under oversight from the New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS). It notes that Litecoin trading support comes as the result of close cooperation with the watchdog, and that the exchange continues to expand with a “security-first” approach.

according to my observations for some time ... I am more interested in having Litecoin (LTC) than Ethereum (ETH) ... because the LTC price is currently classified as stable and continues to increase .. Especially with the existence of the reported partnership ... then I sure Litecoin is the best choice at this time ...

Considering factors that will allow you to generate profits in both sides, splitting can be done instead of choosing and then regrets if one will grow than the one you choose, but likewise it's all about how you understand and believe with project that you wanted to support and how long you are willing to wait.

Although LTC litecoin is a highly potential coin, i prefer ethereum because ETH is also potential coin and is good for a long term investment just like bitcoin. It's volume is also good ranking second most volume coin in the market just next to bitcoin.

LTC or ETH, for me ethereum is better now because you are certain that you are getting bigger now so the price of bitcoin is increasing so the possibility of increasing the price of ethereum.

it's true and I myself also believe that ethereum in this year will soar in price but litecoin is also a good coin that must be had also because of the potential of such coins such as ethereum which is easy to experience price increases

Looking at their price charts, I determinantly choose to invest in Ethereum, rather than Litecoin. Litecoin, in reality, was boosted so much due to its news on its upcoming halving. That has almost ended, and Litecoin will jump in corrections. Ethereum, in contrast, has been at its bottom range (In ETH/ BTC pair). Together, two reasons force me to prefer Ethereum for my portfolio during those days. It is always better to invest in coins that stay in their bottom ranges.

Both are good, though in LTC the captain already left the boat.

Why not have them both? and before anything else do you own some bitcoin already? the price of the two is still not so high so whichever you choose you still have a good coin hold. This isn't a hard choice to make unlike those who asks between LTC and an unknown coin.
I doubt about the potential of litecoin consider about there was no an interesting development about that, said it lacks of development. NEO has the same problem like ltc and it has no a lot of volatility.
Ethereum is much better in this case consider we will be facing the constantinopel update.
I agree with you. ETH developed very well but I still do not understand why its value does not increase sharply. LTC or NEO are just projects that come later and don't have too many outstanding ideas.

For shortterm investment I would choose LTC now. Before halving LTC will grow. Though for the longterm I would wait several month after halving to make investment to LTC

BTC   Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System   BTC
A purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash would allow online payments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through a financial institution. Digital signatures provide part of the solution, but the main benefits are lost if a trusted third party is still required to prevent double-spending. We propose a solution to the double-spending problem using a peer-to-peer network. The network timestamps transactions by hashing them into an ongoing chain of hash-based proof-of-work, forming a record that cannot be changed without redoing the proof-of-work. The longest chain not only serves as proof of the sequence of events witnessed, but proof that it came from the largest pool of CPU power. As long as a majority of CPU power is controlled by nodes that are not cooperating to attack the network, they'll generate the longest chain and outpace attackers. The network itself requires minimal structure. Messages are broadcast on a best effort basis, and nodes can leave and rejoin the network at will, accepting the longest proof-of-work chain as proof of what happened while they were gone.

The ether  is really good, and we should expect something more from him, which he now shows, but also LTC - a very promising coin.

I choose ETH. Of course LTC has good value but it's very similar to Bitcoin. I think ETH has more potential to grow in future

both, at the time of the current bull market, crypto coins included in the top 10 coinmarketcap will also bull.  Although, Ethereum's market capitalization is still greater when compared to Litecoin's capitalization, but I suggest it's better to have both for now  Smiley

Each coin has its advantages. If I want to earn more, then I choose ETH, since it seems to me that this coin has more prospects to grow in value. But if I have extra money, then you can buy a little and LTC.

Ethereum is no doubt a better utility coin when compared to ltc but utility isn't the best ground to determine the speculative value of a coin. If we are seeing from investment prospect, Litcoin is much better investment right now. Just search the coin with highest growth in 2019 so far. You would be surprised to know that ltc tops the chart.
