Please don’t kill yourself, your life is worth more than money. Please remember that. You’re very young & have your whole life ahead of you. You still have a good amount of bitcoin’s too so if if’s money you’re chasing then STOP. Bitcoin will likely go up to $50,000 per coin or more after the next halving so you will not be short of money.

I think you need to stop gambling altogether, I don’t think you seem the type of person who can bet small amounts. Like ypu said you ‘go big or go home’.

You need a holiday, somewhere hot & time to relax & think things through.

You've got the important lesson from the gambling, you won't get a chance to recover your loss. I think you still have a lot of money in your crypto because you still have $1.5 million in crypto and other investments and I think you can do another thing to recover your loss. I hope that someday you can increase your money without playing gambling. I know it's painful to get lost especially you lose more than 50 BTC but the good thing is you still have money in your wallet. Maybe you can take a break for a while, take holiday to another place or enjoy your time with your friends or your family.

Yes, I am Mannton456, I’m going to post it on the crypto-Games chat to prove it’s me. This is my story of loss.

I’ve always had a inclination for making reckless decisions. While I don’t gamble on a regular basis and prided myself on making sensible decisions, like investing in the bankroll of a bitcoin casino (to benefit from +EV), one day I decided to gamble with 3 BTC.

I won some bitcoins, and called it a day. The next day, I was bored and decided to give it another go. Lost everything. Now I don’t like losing, so my only strategy was to deposit almost 10x the amount - 20 BTC, and try to win it back again. I did and managed to turn it to 30 BTC. My heart was shaking and the adrenaline I had was incredible. I reinvested it in the site, and went to bed happy.

Unfortunately, the next day I decided to just do one bet of the entire balance, at 97% odds. I lost. Shit. I was operating in automatic mode and deposited a further 50 BTC, and tried to bet again. Lost again. I felt like ending my life.

I did something even more stupid and deposited another 70 BTC, almost the last remaining bitcoins I’ve had. Thankfully I was able to win back 30 BTC before I stopped and withdrew; putting my net loss at -54 bitcoins.

This is worth $350k USD. I am at a loss. I don’t think I will ever gamble again, but this is such an expensive lesson for me. I could’ve bought a house or apartment for that money. I could’ve bought 7 Tesla’s!

It’s also the first time I’ve lost anything more than $20 gambling. I don’t gamble a lot, and when I do it’s always with small amounts. But it was easy to see bitcoins as “not money” and that you’re just playing a game... with real money, and real life consequences.

I am someone in my 20s who got into cryptocurrency early. Thankfully, I do still have about $1.5 million in crypto and other investments, but losing 350k and 20% of your net wealth in the span of an hour is just... devastating to me. How did I end up risking $350k for a $18k loss?!

I’m having thoughts of going “all in” and trying to win it back. I know it’s a bad idea, a real bad one, but I’m someone who likes going big or going home.

I don’t know what to do at this point. I know I will survive, at least I’m not in debt, but fuck, I’m upset. I’m really depressed, and thoughts of killing myself have floated my mind.

Hey first of all stop focusing on what you lost that money is not coming back, now look at the bigger picture are you bankrupt no, do you have debts to pay no you're yet a millionaire, something that an average gambler wishes to achieve. I would suggest you to read a book called you can heal your life by Louis Hay, also visit gambling forums where you'll find similar gamblers and speak your heart there. I would just call it a bad luck, and remember you have a good amount of crypto left, if cryptos prices rise you'll recover all you lost, dying is not a solution remain strong.

The reason why you are still convinced that gambling is the way to redeem your losses is because the money you used is yours. You have lost what some people will not see in their entire life time of work in other places of the world. My advice, you need to start looking for other ways of multiplying your investment which in this case you have identified what you could have used with it. Try to move your funds into a wallet you won't have access to or you consider a fixed investment that would not be subject to huge volatility while the remaining can be gambled away.

How a nice story wrote by the OP, we have to learn a lot on this scenario. First, OP was lost of the control chasing of his loss in gambling that makes thing worst for him because of that he had lost everything if he didn't decide to stop. Well, my advice doesn't kill your self in just chasing your loss, set money that you can afford. If you had a loss on that day at your limit amount then, stop and come back into another day.

The most important thing to do right now is not do anything stupid (i.e. suicide or loss chasing).  If you don't feel like you can't control yourself, I'm happy to help you timelock your money for the next year to prevent anything stupid.

In 10 years it'll seem like a distant "i really fucked up then" memory, so in the mean time focus on more important things in life. The truth is you just had those bitcoin sitting doing nothing anyway.

But being frank, you obviously have some latent self control issues. You really shouldn't gamble again, or if you do have extremely strict limits you establish for yourself that are not based on loss-chasing. I would strongly advise you don't gamble until you can forget about this loss and consider chasing it.

But seriously, look at al the positive things you got going for you. Your remaining savings are more than 99.9% of the world. Learn from your mistake, forgive yourself and most importantly don't do anything stupid.

P.S. I'd also recommend against casino investing. It's too easy to gamble from there, and it's best to distance yourself from casinos in general when you have a problem.

Most of the people who have posted here have included the right things that you should think. I can never imagine how much you have felt with losing that amount of money. Being satisfied would be the right thing to feel when you have won, but you didn't, you continued to play. That's the sad part. All I'm saying is, you are not the only one who has experienced that and it's time you realized that it's not the end of the world.

 You need to be strong enough to accept your actions, whether you were greedy or playing for profit. We all have done those things, and don't lose hope for yourself. It's that moment when you tried that 97% freaking percent, and you still lost, don't hate yourself. Just go home, there are other opportunities that you could take advantage of, definitely not connected to gambling anymore.

I’m certainly not going to be chasing this loss, or gambling for money again. Any gamble like that is going to be things like poker night with my friends, with a $20 buy in.

The only thing that’s slightly bugging me, especially after the crypto crash, is... do I have “enough” money? Is $1.5m good enough? I know that amount of wealth puts me at the 10% in the US, and probably the top 1% for someone in my 20s, but god...  I was in the 1% once, and I want to be there again.

Maybe I need some perspective. Idk. Once you go from “spend money, ya have practically infinite money” (I gave away more than 100 BTC to family [good reason, don’t regret it one bit] and an ex [fuck I was dumb ]), to shit, money is finite and you only have a million and change... it’s an unpleasant realization but I think I’m missing perspective there.

That and whatnot. I’m going to continue what has worked out well for me, and what has allowed me to build this wealth that I had. Along with time and hopefully another crypto rally, I’ll be the 1% again. It’s only $10 million. 

But I will make it there. Through hard work, savings, and smart investments. Never gambling.

I am glad if you truly accept the lost and you are over this now. I think you need to manage your money better. My suggestion is to clearly separate personal and investment money. Maybe make a monthly budget and try sticking with it. Pay yourself a salary. If you consider yourself as investor/entrepreneur this would make it a bit more professional and will lead to more informative decisions. Good luck.

Having a lot of bitcoin to gamble shows that you are a rich man indeed. When I am reading your post, I'm thinking to put myself in the situation that you have experienced. Same as you, I will be feeling depressed with the loss you have. 54 BTC like WTF!!!!. If I have that much Bitcoin, I will spend it to buy my personal needs and wants but you put it into gambling and risk it.

I think the best thing to do is to tell this to your family or friend so that anybody will share their opinion and advice to you and in that way, it can lessen what you are feeling right now. One more, don't gamble anymore since you said that you are not gambling everyday. Your post shows that you can't control yourself and you are thinking of going all in which is a very bad idea.

Most people who gamble including myself do it mostly because we want to win money but if I have the privilege of having that much money why would I gamble in the first place and risk losing money.

Bitcoin world are riskier than ordinary gambling like vegas so it's normal and you must aware for this.
I know that gambling able to make you rich but cryptocurrency gambling can't make you as rich as Dan Bilzerian !

So before it's too late, you need find another way to multiple your bits ( For example : I'm invest on other platform with the profit that I got from crypto )

Please, first of all, ask CryptoGames to disable your account and ban your IP address.
They will do that if you're a problem gambler, that would be a very good first step.

Second, get professional help as soon as possible. Instead of gambling one last time, please make an emergency appointment with a mental health specialist.
Do whatever you can to stop yourself from gambling again.

glad you accepted the loss mate but hope you learned the lesson , it's not about not gambling in the future but it's about self control
you seriously need to learn self control cause you didn't lose that amount of money because of gambling but because lack of self control

we can all agree that gambling will only end up with loss but you ended up chasing small loss with big capital and to be honest this is what you should work on cause this may affect your future investments in the coming days

always measure the risk/reward and take time to think about it , cause you may end up doing the same thing with investments as well ( remember there is really a tiny line between gambling and investing )

you still have a lot of money so personally  wouldn't worry if I was you , you can easily make it back within two years

The thing is it doesn't matter where you live when you have 1.5 million dollars. You are saying you live in an expensive city but that has no relevance to this at all, you are 1.5 million ahead of what you would have been if you didn't invested into bitcoin back in the early days.

You wouldn't have that money and I am pretty sure having that money is better than not having it in anywhere around the world. The point is not that it is a lot of money in some countries and not so much in some other countries but the point is you at least have it which is much better than not having. If you keep gambling this way you won't have it and you will think about how it sucks not having it, you would probably rue the day you gambled and if you are like this by losing $350k, think how worse you will be by losing another 1.5 million dollars which tells me it is a big amount of money.

I would suggest getting a place for yourself if you do not have it, maybe you won't afford a luxurious state but I am sure you can at least get a one bedroom small loft type thing or whatever you can afford, that way your money won't be on bitcoin for you to gamble but will be your house which you won't have to pay rent and if you are living on a dorm or with your parents you can even rent it and if your country is as expensive as you say than the rent will be high and you will have a decent income from that which you can't gamble with.

All together everything seems pretty awesome for you no matter what, I say smile and get fresh air and think of how many things you can do with that kind of money.
