I hope all other countries is open to every innovation especially in financial aspects like accepting digital currencies which is slowly entering into our everyday activities and adoption will continue without having problems into regulations, we need to rely in technology to stop abuse in financial systems we need digital currency.
One way or the other, I believe that as time goes on, we will get to see more countries trying to follow put and do the necessary so they do not end up becoming laggards and in this case, there will be a point in time when we will see huge level of regulation globally as well as adoption.

Times are changing, the space is developing and maturing daily, this is already beyond what government can stop and the only thing they can do is to accept and regulate it, while it becomes an alternative.
Adoption of cryptocurrency by the Philippines is a good start, and for what it is worth, as we have already seen so many countries becoming crypto friendly, we likely will see more in the long run.

Well done, what else can I say. The country seems to be visited by a lot of tourists, so if they will start accepting cryptocurrency completely everywhere, then there will be a huge income from tourists who will pay in the country with cryptocurrency.

one side, it is exciting for those who are familiar with cryptocurrencies. because it is recognized that it does not violate the rules. The authority can apply regulations regarding crypto to protect investors. the government can collect taxes and create employment opportunities.
but I also agree, there are other problems. many around us do not know cryptocurrencies. how they will accept this for use in everyday life. need understanding for those who do not know crypto, so crypto can be accepted and used to transact with people around us.

As i'm hearing things like that the asian countries has much more liberal approach than european countries i think more often about moving out to one of these countries. In future there can be possibility that these countries will be richer than Germany, France or UK, only china could be richer than USA today but in future who knows.

That is very good for Philipines that government is open for technological news.
I think the thing here is for Asian countries like the Philippines, they don't have that much to lose if they become in full support when it comes to the cryptocurrency industry. Unlike this European countries who are developed they take things like this more slowly as it takes much time deliberating on what is the right approach on supporting this kind of industry as it could really affect their economy in a bad way when they rush decisions without really thinking this through. That is just my two cents on why I think countries like the Philippines are more friendly.

Time to move to Philippines Grin
Lol. It is not just Philippines, but there are so many other countries that have actually shown prospect as well when it comes to acceptance of cryptocurrency and regulation of it. It is a very lovely development, and I am sure over time, with the idea of Philippine government looking for a lot of means to boost their economy, they must have fashioned out that this is actually a very good attempt to be able to utilize the space in doing so by being a crypto friendly environment.

We all know how being a crypto friendly environment has been working greatly for so many countries in that zone for a while now. It really shows there is a great hope for the future actually.

I am glad that finally countries are taking a positive stance about cryptocurrencies. Recently we heard about china legalizing cryptocurrnecies, now here comes the Philippines. Asia provides a big user base for cryptos in terms of population of internet users. I hope India to take some positive step for cryptos.

Cryptocurrency transactions has been on the rise in the philippines.

They are already accepted 5 cryptocurrency company in the country and approximately planning to give license for atleast 25 companies to operate in the philippines.

With the current government administration they are starting to adopt and build even in the technological infrastructure.

In more years to come the country will be more open to blockchain technology like japan and other countries.
This is one of the greatest innovations and adaptations done by the Philippines. If only many people will start to appreciate cryptocurrency rather than questioning its capacity and credibility, cryptocurrency have already been established in the Philippines a couple of years ago. But it is still great that the government is now recognizing its worth because many people are already running their interests towards this type of currency. This will totally help cryptocurrency community to establish larger scope of population popularizing cryptocurrency very well so that many people will be encourage to join into this getting larger community.

I heard that China has begun to legalize bitcoin payments and it is possible that at the end of this year prices will increase as in the past year because many countries have started to accept payments using bitcoin.

I have no doubt about that. In the future all countries around the world will adopt blockchain technology on various levels because it is so efficient not only in economic sector but in many other fields too. Right now, unfortunately, scam ICOs exploit those ideas in order to fool people, but the ideas are right by themselves, and adopted on a governmental level they can make economic situation in any country much better than before.

In recent times there have been quite some positive news from Philippines regarding crypto adoption, and I'm glad for the country because such steps can surely make the life of its citizens better.
Every now and then we get such good news from the markets and this is really good for the adoption of bitcoin. I think this will bring more awareness to bitcoin for the people of philippines.

I believe that is something we will always get to see more of it coming eventually. This space is growing and developing every day, showing the level at which people and investors are really eager and trying all their means to at least, get into the market by all means considering the long term potentials, and now that we are beginning to have various countries coming up with their own terms and regulatory framework and showing they really want to get to accept its usage is a great start. I am so much optimistic that in the long run, there will be so much more to come.

I agree. Some establishments that are near in my house are accepted bitcoin and you can even lid your wallet through them. And I think it would more popular to some of my Filipino fellow to learn in using it in their daily basis. I think that the adoption of online currency here will be more easier than the other countries.

It will be efficient if that will be the same thing to me, but it is not. I am also a Filipino but I don't live in the Urban zone in which there are a lot of people that know and use Bitcoin.

I am living in the Rural zone of the country. Most of people don't know what Bitcoin, they don't even know what Crypto currencies are and who Satoshi Nakamoto is. If that will be the same with my place, that will be great since I will be able to use my BTC in the daily basis but on the second thought, I think it is better to save my BTC rather than using them.
Maybe it is good to ask the stores if they know about crypto and how convenient it could be if the use it as new payment system. It can be good as the first who going to apply it. However, as the price is down now, it is good to just keep it for a while and use it when you need few volume to pay large amount in fiat.

Philippines is so far behind in terms of technology but when we talk about cryptocurrency, we are much aware about what it was and how to deal with it. We have here an exchange platform which we call coins.ph and we can automatically convert crypto to Fiat through this platform. Hopefully the government will continue to support blockchain technology for the future of cryptocurrency in the country.

I am so positive that the Philippines will easily adopt this new innovation of investments. So lucky that i belong to what we so called pioneer in this. Maybe at first, there will be this transition that needed for the Filipino to understand what this is all about. Slowly, this will be a good stepping stone for us Filipino to have another option in paying bills, online transaction and investments. I hope someday, cryptocurrencies will help the Philippines to build a good economy for it.

It is a good news that Philippines is open to adopt the innovation happening in modern world especially the blockchain technology and the cryptoworld. We can see a lot of opportunities to earn money in cryptos that can also help the country's economic growth. More people have chances to deal and invest with these cryptos cause the government believe and trust cryptos.
They just needed to understand how things works inside the blockchain and what crypto really all about, there's a lots of room to grow for this industry and each countries who able to adopt and fully used the system can get a bigger edge as if being implemented correctly it can really help the economy, usage of the system can be performed inside the government.
It is actually a very good thing for the Philippines entirely as this is a good move by the government to at least make the country a very crypto friendly space, judging from the way they have been doing things lately.

At least, with things like this, the chances of seeing more adoption within this space, taking a look at how other countries might end up seeing its positive effect on the Philippines economy, then, we will get to see more countries trying not to get left behind. I am pretty impressed that countries like this are taking the bold step to make something out of the space for their own growth in the long run.
That is an important and good news for bitcoin. I hope that such news will really give boost to bitcoin. Bitcoin is going to become a global currency and very soon we will bitcoin trading and using in every corner of the world. I think that now bitcoin is becoming too much popular and more and more people are getting knowledge about it.

That's a great news some establishments are accepting bitcoin and I think I can even put some money on my wallet online if I want it to invest in my favorite currency. That can really a easy way to change my currency to cash if I really needed it.

There are some private group in the Philippines together with the foriegn group of businessman who combined and tandem for business in crypto currency that was last 3 months ago but for the Philippine government as of now is not yet to mention about crypto currency. I have to say that because everyday i heared always the latest news over the radio.
