Elon Musk the founder of SpaceX and Tesla made a tweet about buying bitcoin from his official verified twitter  account, and no his account was not hacked lmao, even twitter thought his account was hacked can't blame twitter though lol. It's pertinent to note that his tweet deserves to be taken seriously, remember Teslaquilla his April fool tweet will soon be a reality. I see a potential whale in him, but given his stressful conditions wonder he'll be good for bitcoins or he'll mess it up, cause this guy won't be in for one or two bitcoins he has the capacity to buy and sell major volumes.

I don't know if "swooned" would be the right word. I think he tweeted that more of as a joke and obviously not in a serious way. But whatever. Joke or not, publicity is publicity.

I think it was a light humor from one of the most innovative thinker of our time and nothing else!! Also it was not a regular tweet from Elon Musk, it was essentially a reply to @vicentes and @Grimezsz. I tried to look at their comments but twitter isn't showing them up because of the huge number of replies to the original tweet! That's the reason why I am unable to understand the context.

However, it's always good to hear anything about bitcoin or cryptos in general from the famous personalities!

I think he was just bored and nothing more, his tweet have absolutely no effect on crypto market. Maybe best comment on his tweet is come from Binance founder Changpeng "Lol, it's spreading. I will buy a Tesla if you accept crypto..."

He is just one more person who wants to trigger public reactions with his not always smart statements. Musk is even under investigation of SEC because of his tweets, which means only that his hand is faster than his mind sometimes.

This is a cryptic tweet but my guess is that he will create a world changing crypto exchange that links everything together. PayPal, fiat, bitcoin, and altcoins. If anyone can do it, it is Elon Musk

But then its true that way back I think 2016 or maybe even earlier he already bought a lot of bitcoin, I read it in this forum too which a popular magazine published they they invest in bitcoin. I don't think he is serious about selling his coins now that its a bear market.

I wouldn't trust a word to come of out Musk's mouth in the last few months. He always seemed to be a bit of a fruit-loop but he now seems to be losing his marbles at an ever increasing rate. How the CEO of major companies can go around calling rescue divers pedophiles is beyond me. I think mostly everything he's doing lately is either a sign of impending insanity or a very calculated maneuver to lower the stock price of Tesla in a later bid to take it private at a cheaper cost. Given all that I don't think anyone should take this tweet seriously.

It is for sure great to hear words of a neutral to positive nature from a very
famous and current celebrity.  Elon Musk has the power to shape the
markets to some degree. I like what he is doing and i like that he is a bitcoinist.

I actually think he was serious about buying bitcoin.  A guy as smart as Elon Musk can see how big of an impact cryptocurrency will have on the global market.  This will help spike demand considering how large Musk's fanbase is.  Elon has some of the most loyal fans that do anything he says.  I hope SpaceX and Tesla succeed, Musk seems like he has been under a lot of stress lately and its starting to take a toll on his health.

Knowing that the dude spends 100-hour work weeks, it's quite impressive that he actually has some time to find a weab picture of a girl representing bitcoin and making a tweet about it. While the post seems to be satirical and made for good humor, it's still publicity at the end of the day, and might paint a positive impression on some people that the SpaceX and Tesla top dog is supporting a cryptocurrency--which would, to me, be not surprising considering that the man is an advocate of technology.

Good to see some light things going on around the ecosystem instead of the crazy rhetorical "why is bitcoin losing x/gaining y" posts.

I don't see anything in his tweet that will make me swoon. I think it's just a random tweet and more likely a funny one.
Well who wouldn't mind dome free publicity. Anyway, don't take his tweet too seriously.
There are many celebrities and big whales who keep posting tweets about bitcoin but none of them actually matters.
Some of them though, might result in a short term spike but there is really nothing improvising by tweets for bitcoin.

The tweet was a reply is his message about loving anime, so I think it's more about anime than about bitcoin. Looks like an attempt to create a meme, rather than an offer to buy btc or a thought inspiring to do it. He migh've also been using irony since Musk fake accounts are known for scamming people on their cryptocurencies. The time to buy is good, though, but it's been this way for months and will probably continue to be so, so no rush is necessary. Maybe the viral character of the tweet will lead him to taking cryptocurrencies seriously. It can be a great reuinon of technological improvements of Teslas and btc.

It comes down to a differnt timeframe for him, the new emerging markets will be what will interest him the most. For this person it has become routine to do the unexpected. For many people they cant handle it when certain indivduals think outside the traditional aspect of operation. His knowledge and imagination had an exponential growth during his early 20's.

lol, he is not gonna be a whale. He has enough on his plate , with Tesla, Spacex and Boring company. There is a bigger chance that he is going to buy Tesla's stock rather than BTC.
The tweet most likely has something to do with some kind of promotion which he will do with one of his companies.
