I see this project looks good and has future potential, a little question, has mainnet been launched?
if so, will Phantom hold an ICO like other projects and is there a bounty for getting phantom?

There is no company bounty, the network is now working in test mode

There will not be any initial coin offering (ICO) that means no reward for any kind of activity. If were holding CTR or ARK at some certain time when snapshot was taken will receive forked coins. Even if you have not claimed in September still via fall back method you will qualify. Other way will be to buy from exchanges when it will be listed on.

So, there really is no way to get this coin at the moment? No OTC or such kind of trades? Saw that the faucet too was empty. Wish I'd stumbled upon this ANN sooner. Would have kept my ARK

Absolutely right, at the moment no way to access this coin as this doesn't exist. It looks like at the start of next year it will be created because of ARK's V2 release that has no specific date yet. It is planned to be forked once new version will be stable with other words in few weeks after main net launch. We have almost nine weeks before this year end.

Seems all the faucet have been emptied. Only way to get one's hand on this token now really is after ARK's fork. Unfortunately, ARK has stated it wouldn't be announcing the dates of the fork.

We have confirmed date already for Ark V2 to be launched on 28th of this month. This is quite surprising announcement but good for those were waiting for this. Phantom's development and everything was solely dependent on this release. Now by the end of next month maximum we can expect distribution of this token but still depend on stability of network.

It has been three weeks since last time roadmap was updated and even then development was more advanced. I am sure in couple of days once the Ark's v2 goes live we will see some update on status of progress in roadmap. That launch of V2 is putting things on hold and may be team is also waiting for more precise update. Github isn't showing activities may be recent wok hasn't be pushed yet.

It wasn't mean to launch on 28th, this is the day when delegates received (already in the past) the Core v2.0 in order to install it and sync the blockchain. The day of launch is Monday,  December 3rd, this is when v1 nodes will shut down and the forging will continue from the v2 nodes.

More details here: https://blog.ark.io/the-ark-core-v2-migration-plan-final-preparations-1807a00b062a

I hope we will hear from PHANTOM soon! Don't role-play your name guys! Grin

Such a clown show in this thread. Phantom is a group of scam artists waiting for the crypto market to bounce back before launching their coin on an exchange, aka the Centra team. Anyone buying into this vague BS is a rube.

Records show that phantom accounts are courtesy of Sharma, which is a violation of his bail terms.
They traced back the IP of the Medium and Twitter accounts, read the full document for disclosure.

Incredible, this links shows that the request of revocation of bail for violation of terms can spoil the party before even start. One thing I didn't understand there is no mentioning of phantom only thing is focused on communication to Centra investors was given as reason in this application. There have stated in there telegram that they don't talk about CTR or even have no connection with that. Well, it remain to see what is the outcome of this application in coming days and how it affects Phantom's development.

1) I've never heard of "Sohrab Sharma" and I can't be sure that the document you're linking is genuine... I also don't care to research it at this point.
2) Even if we accept the said document, it makes no connection to PHANTOM. "They traced back the IP of the Medium and Twitter accounts" you said... who are "they" and where's the proof?
3) PHANTOM is not running an ICO, it's not asking for anyone's money. It'll be a service of some sort and the devs will benefit from the fees. Therefore, since I'm not looking to invest my money on their project, I don't care about who's behind the project; if they offer a good product I'll use it, if not I'll pass.

- Sohrab (or Sam) Sharma is the co-founder of Centra

- Read paragraph V: Argument on page 19, and all will become clear.

- If even the tiniest bit of Centra ICO funds (which Sharma apparently lied about in court) were used for the development of Phantom, it can be shut down immediately.

I see.... you have a fair point.
However I can't trust the claim that the IP was traced back and has proven a connection between the two projects.
Maybe I'm willing to show some trust on them since they don't run an ICO.

It’s all lies like everything associated with CTR. Like I always suspected Phantom is another scheme to manipulate coin price to line founders pockets. Any vague product they claim to be offering will never actually exist.

Look at the facts

Centra medium/twitter announces "rebrand" to Phantom

Phantom is or planned to be based in Malta.  Malta is not a known tax/securities haven at all  Roll Eyes

A "team" or founders is never announced by Phantom, probably because the team is the Centra team and they already went down the road of creating fake executives.  I mean what kind of credible project has a faceless team running it?

Sharma, the founder of Centra, now is having his bail possibly revoked on the basis of creating Phantom while under Federal indictment for securities fraud.

Seriously, if the average person cant see the connection here then its no wonder how they were so easily able to get $25 million+ on an ICO. There is no "Phantom" Smart Contract, card, transmitter, or whatever it is they claim to be offering.  The goal here is obviously to create a new coin, use a CTR/Ark fork to get a community/following, once on an exchange and enough volume in play Centra team can begin price manipulation to keep their cash cow alive.  Basing the company in Malta would in theory keep them immune from further indictments from the US authorities.

Centra's chapter is closed already and what Phantom has with them now ? If I remember well Centra was delivering and they were accused of using name of some big company as partner, am I right ? Phantom is not ICO and there will not be any type of fund raising so what has this with these allegations now ? I would rather wait than to believe in anything what I read here.
