So, how was that order from cryptominerbros? I'm thinking of buying from them too, but would love to hear how it went for you.
Are you sure that you want to buy this? the price is hight and the ROI is impossibile... there are other miners.......

It is too expensive. I do not know where the guys met Baikal for 720 dollars, as I saw the offer for 1200 USD and more. Probably, these were used miners. However, they say, you can get +20 USD profits with it monthly.

I'm not sure that now it makes sense to buy this equipment now. Profitability is extremely low. If the market recovers, it will make sense, but for now there is definitely no.

I just contacted Baikal on Skype and the price is 1299 USD for at least 100pcs , really bad for small miners !!!
The miners are mining coins for getting some profits and there have so many small miners whose are trying to get some profits from mining and if they use this one then there have no chance to get much profits.

Hi,
would be there anyone interested to try party mining with Baikals at zergpool? I just created test party, you are welcome to join :-)

URL: stratum+tcp://myr-gr.mine.zergpool.com:5433
User: YourBTCaddress.yourID (e.g. 1MwrhAaGcvd5n5AFWRMqAf353b95FBXR7j.partyminer1)
pass: c=BTC,mc=DGB,m=party.Wooveth6suux6Eib

Should have all benefits of solo mining, but with joined power of all participants - so probably more profitable as PPLNS

I think small miners will disappear soon. Already today, competing with large mining farms is almost impossible. And in the near future it will simply become impossible.

The average payback of Baikal Miner BK-G28 is about a year on average. The number of available algorithms in the amount of 8 is really cool. Multi-algoritmic mining equipment is very important because it is more versatile. While the risks of non-receipt of profit are significantly reduced.

Could be dead boards. Dont look at the shown hashrate of the miner on the interface, check it on the poolside.
Try restart/ reset, check power cables and power supply. You could try reflashing the SD card as a last try.

Have it.

The control board was not connected at all pins with some hash boards.

I have round about 10% rejected shares on pools where I mine ALGO Qubit.

Where do you mine guys? I am looking for auto profit switch. Nicehash does not include Groestl. Zpool seems low on profit. I am getting like 1,20$ for a G28.

Yeah, Awesomeminer might be an option.

I have the feeling that the profit switching might not be such a good option since ramping up takes some time. It seems that diff is also reevaluated on each switch.

I am testing at the moment Nicehash vs. pure groestl on suprnova without autoexchange. To be correct, I might test it also with Qubit only.

Be careful since Nicehash also reports much higher profits than it actually pays out.

If you can report some profit values with dates, that would help.

According to https://www.asicminervalue.com/miners/baikal/bk-g28

SIB coin currently most profitable for G28 at 2.99 per day and this algo consumes only 450w compared to Qubit.

This indication is wrong for weeks. Just check with some other coin calculator, e.g. whattomine. Its more like 0.5$....
