Yes I think overall 2017 was the best year for the cryptocurrencies and currently there is no chance for a similar situation.

Well, as of now before the 2018 year end still Bitcoin is in down fall. Some Bitcoin analyst predicted that before the end of this yea bitcoin will rise. Many people including me is hoping for that to happened. Its not bad to hope if this thing is impossible to happened because we have 2 months left and many things could happened. Maybe last year the price of bitcoin is good and we are hoping that its same this year.

Long term trader can hold for life because bitcoin and the entire crypto market has huge potential in the future.
Being young, we can see some price pump and dump but we are not after of short term pump because when we will be more patient, we will see greater profit.

yes but BTC hit only $19K. btc has the potential to hit $100K easily. so the next bull will be the biggest one for us. also now lot more new exchanges are launching and lot more buying opportunities for people. so i think best things are yet to come

The $20K all-time-high was just a preview how the market price can be in the future. So I wouldn't say that 2017 is the best year because we all know that there will be a lot of bull runs that will happen in the future. We're just in the bear market, which is a normal cycle but what comes next will be another massive bull run again.

No doubt about it the 20k$ + milestone was also achieved in 2017 by bitcoin, but many renown crypto-analyst predicted that 2019 will also be the best year for bitcoin and bitcoin users. They also predicted that in the first quarter of 2019 bitcoin will be at it's highest price of all time. Let see what will gonna happens with bitcoin in near future.

Yes, we cannot really tell what will happen in the future, for now, year 2017 is the best crypto year for us but when another hype and bull run again happen I am sure that time will be the next big year for us.

But it will happen, massive media stories are so common in 21 century. What triggers one massive media story? Many things, you can tell that by the videos that are becoming viral over night, and some of them are really stupid.
Next wave can happen next year, or in couple years, I believe in that and I`m patiently waiting. I`m waiting patiently, but I`m not sitting around, I work to make some more coins, I read about new ones every day, thinking to get in or not.

I agree it was best, but I would just add - best so far! We saw a massive increase in whole market cap at the end of 2017 but people were saying in few years back multiple times "this is the biggest increase", "biggest gains" etc... and then couple of years later, or even next year we saw even more bigger increase in price. I think we are still early and there will definitely be even bigger increase in overall market cap in the future, especially if cryptocurrencies get mass adopted. Of course not every project that is currently on the market will still be there, but new projects will come, some better then current ones. So yeah, biggest gains, but biggest gains so far!

Yes you are right that the year 2017 was the best year for crypto as there were not regulations in place. Reports of regulations have brought cryptocurrency down as people are not sure their investment in crypto is safe or not. Likewise, reports of crypto scams are also in part to blame. Now again the year like 2017 would come for crypto as many are positive about this new invention.

That's a good idea. Because the Crypto market will only see the strongest growth in 2017 and next years will be at the bottom. 2018 is a year of failure for Crypto because the world economy has had a strong influence on it. But do not worry, I think after 5 years the market will continue to be pumped like 2017. The problem is time.

I hope that such days come again. Unfortunately, i was not active with crypto at the time, but i imagine those were good times. Maybe in one or two years, we will have another hype and this time i will be there.
