But to put this in perspective. Bitcoin price last April 2017 was only around $2,000. At current price of bitcoin at $6,000. That is still a 200% gain vs last year's price - 18+ months ago.

This only means that either btc still has room to go down OR it will still continue to go up and sustain the current price.

The thing with a lot of people is that they look at bullish trend as just the only opportunity the market brings, but they usually do not consider the fact that the bear market also bring about opportunities to accumulate and that to me sound like a year giving smart people pretty good bargain to invest in a project they believe in its long term and be patient knowing that at some point, the market will most definitely recover.
