In future, can cryptocurrency replace fiat money? This seems to be most interesting phenomenon to discuss today.

https://blog.amon.tech/can-cryptocurrency-replace-fiat-money/
but isn't it the main reason of cryptocurrency creation? (apart from making profit). i think that when it happens the world will face a real change. somehow it will affect people's psychology i am sure

I believe that cryptocurrency will not be able to replace money because money will always be in demand. crypto currency in the future can be equated with money and made as an alternative method of payment as it is now, for example, paying with cards

Replacing fiat money was too hard for crypto if it remains so volatile like what happened right now massive fall really eradicated lately. If we wanted that crypto will be associated with fiat economy, I guess it needs a lot of years before the development takes place for everything prior we will be able to solve those problems related to those factors affecting the price of bitcoin and after that it will be deliberated prior merging digital currency towards fiat economy in order to replace it.

In my opinion, cryptocurrencies will be used in many payment system, but it might be difficult  to replace fiat, this is because fiat is easy to be used in day to day activities.

It was only depended with people and acceptance for government wether crypto has a chances to replace fiat money in a future we should keep promoting crypto as a great investment in where we can earn profit .Crypto is ready for changes but acceptance with individuals is not totally good.

I don't think so since cryptocurrency is kind of sophisticated tool that requires a lot to be able to use but unlike the fiat you obtain your money and that's all you ready to use it.

The emergence of cryptocurrency can cause a gradual evolution of national money, under the influence of intense competition, the use of "customary money" can become much more convenient.

Cryptocurrency will not replace fiat money. Current circulation of fiat money is still more important than cryptocurrency. The fiat currency is currently a counterweight and benchmark for cryptocurrency.

Money will always be, and nothing will replace them completely, we are all so used to money, and as a rule, many are afraid of something new and unknown. I think cryptocurrency will be more popular among people, but money will not replace.

According to present crypto market this is difficult to predict. But I believe that one day crypto will more strong and it's popularity will increase more. I think in future it can be happen but also I believe it won't happen so early.

I really don't think that replacing fiat money would be beneficial or really needed at all. What crypto should be is what one should call a supportive alternative, it coexists with fiat. If fiat transactions become halted for some reason there is crypto to handle the situation.

I have been watching for a long time how banks are trying to adapt the blockchain for their needs and at the moment everything looks pretty raw.

I think that you can now use cryptocurrency as Fiat money, but the real cryptocurrency will replace Fiat money is not soon, it is even possible that this will not happen.

No, that's unlikely to happen. I think that the cryptocurrency can be widely used together with Fiat money, but it cant completely replace them. At least in the near future for sure. Crypto is still very young and has many problems to solve.

I have a feeling that cryptocurrencies are slowed in their development. This is not a crisis but there are some sort of difficulties on the market for sure. Anyway it will be overcome I suppose.

Lol, would you use cryptocurrency instead of fiat. When 4 days ago you had 1bitcoin worth ~ $6400 but now after 4 days it is only worth ~$5500. In 4 days you do nothing but lose almost $1000. Why if you hold $6400 fiat, after 4 days it is still $6400. Cryptocurrency now is not a currency.

we are talking about something that will happen in the future, yes fiat money will be replaced by digital transactions, as happened in the film. and this is the evolution that occurred in the history of transactions. but the most powerful logic is that every government will have its own crypto, in other words there are many altcoins that will die. yes this is only my thinking

Can you imagine what should occur shifts in society that it has decided to take this step? This is not a technical issue, but the psychology of people.

Of course, cryptocurrencies can replace the current coins. but so far, our world is not ready to get rid of Fiat completely. there is no urgent need for this yet and cryptocurrencies are not so well developed
