Just want to share the details about the people who ever thinks that why we need to use just paper as currency and we all are working hard to get those paper.People claiming that bitcoin is not virtual so it cannot be considered as money or they call it as scam or ponzi but they are using just papers for centuries and those paper currency were made out of thin air.

Only paper? the paper currency lies in the value of the material used and the history of using money as the use of gold is an extraordinary history in my opinion. I understand what you mean is that people claim and says that the digital currency is a scam and a ponzi, but it directs the topic to paper money and like saying that using paper money doesn't make sense then you are misdirected.

Precisely, paper money has been through with us for such a long time and folks are more used to it compared to other mode of payment. Besides almost of the store whether physical or online still they are more preferred to use it. It is true that there will be changes but this old way payment of us which is paper money will stay.

As I understand that this paper money we use for the last century is that it represent the culture and history of each country and value itself.

Paper money is something which is controlled by the governments so we people are accepted to use them from early stages of the barter system to the currency system but still I am not agree that paper has value which can be used to buy something which is considered to be bonds or contract from the governments saying which has value of something as printed in the paper.

Why can you say that it would take a lot of time for everyone to accept and use Bitcoin as a payment of system? A lot of people knew these for years now and a lot of them are actually using it for almost 10 years now. It is accepted and being used all over the world, except for the banned countries, obviously.

It is because the government of every countries have announced the currencies values to their citizens and since everyone can use the currencies to purchase goods and services that they require for their daily life, it would naturally convince people to try and get hold of that currencies, the true value of every currencies lies in the market values of the economy, and paper is just a material that was used to print fiat money.

Imagine what would happen if oil rich countries were demanding payment in gold instead of worthless US dollars.  USA would try to overthrow their government immediately. 

Fiat money is the biggest scam ever created.  It is just a way to keep us all enslaved to this terrible system that we have little control over.

Since goverments have control on their economies what they say it is important. It is not the same as social contract applied to cryptocurrencies. People may change their thoughts easily but goverments don't change their policies in a day. Since bitcoin become more stable and trustable, that's why bitcoin supporters are expecting the adoption of bitcoin to traditional markets.

Yeah but this is not going to change anytime soon, so for the next few decades we will continue using paper money, at least.
But take in consideration that we, as citizens, are using Debit cards and credit cards more frecuently than before, so maybe this can "replace" fiat at some point, but it will take more time.

the paper money that you are fighting for every day is regulated by the banking system and the government that they will print again to provide balance in the economy and this results in inflation, different from crypto which has complex supply and algorithms that are difficult to fake, no like banknotes which are currently vulnerable to counterfeiting

The paper money you mentioned is controlled and regulated officially by government in every country, and of course those have a stable price than bitcoin. And paper money is becoming an official mean payments.  Differently, crypto and bitcoin is decentralized that there is no entity controlled it. The price is depending on the holder itself. Consequently, bitcoin is only for them who believe in it. We can't force or ask somebody to believe in.

But cryptocurrency is just a money transfer tool on the internet and it does not even have the shape. So fiat money is better than crypto in terms of shape and character. Do not overestimate crypto, it's just a money transfer tool and it's forever just a tool.

We are using this paper or fiat as money because it is use by generation through generation. It is valid because of its feature but it can be damage and can easily steal from one person to another.

In my opinion, they are thinking like that because they dont have the knowledge about our modern technologies today, most of the people who are criticizing cryptocurrency are those people who are old enough that they cannot understand how to operate a simple ipad, so they literally dont have a clue about the way our system is going.

But, a currency system must work in a way that should be simple to understand for any age people. The reason you have mentioned alone not enforcing why people still sticking with paper money. Lots of other factors like basic infrastructures are big hurdle for them for pushing to stick within paper money.

No, I have never questioned why I use paper as money, but after an era of growing meaning that technology growth continues to grow, I still use paper as money but having differences from ancient times, today we have many choices as currencies and lots of the media that we can use for payment and paper money is not always prioritized at this time, because there is a lot of virtual and digital money available, of course it greatly facilitates and speeds up our transactions.

I was interested in your question and I read when the first paper money arose and why. It was a replacement for metal money. It was from ancient times that people left the desire to keep money in their hands. Therefore, we will not leave fiat money yet. And most likely we will use them in parallel with cryptocurrency.

Before, I dont mind it why we are using paper as money. But as a citizen, we have to obey what does the law says and our countries has the same law with it. As they declare something like paper/cash as money, it will turn out that way.

I just realized it lately, yeah why we have to use paper as money if our ancestors successfully live through trading "barter", exchanging of goods to goods/services vice versa.

Your comment explains why we are still sticking with paper money. Yes, being a responsible citizen we do not have any other options expect adopting paper money of our governments. But, after some enlightenment like bitcoin, I believe anyone will come forward to start using new type of currency for sure.

They don't understand what bitcoin is and for someone that doesn't know anything about, he can tell whatever he want.

He may call it scam or ponzi which is usual within the community but we're immune to it.
