Do we need blockchain technology?

There are too many projects  that we don't really need it on blockchain.

Sometimes, I think there is a black swan (Blockchain is useless in real life) lurking around.

Yes, most of these projects are uncalled for and those who are running those projects are just doing it to make their money and that’s it. I see all these projects, but I still wake up and see that another person copied the same project, quite funny. And they be expecting people to invest in projects that are not unique. I don’t even have time for all that, only making use of Bitcoin whenever I want to make transaction or maybe if I want to invest for a while or trade.

Blockchain technology if fully deployed is absolutely a way out in term of curbing election rigging, Russia had already adopted it for voting process also its very useful in chain supplies, medicine and other valuable sectors of the economy  the OP is laying more emphasis on the usefulness of this technology on mainly cryptocurrencies not mindful of the fact that this technology goes beyond using it to create shitcoins.

The truth is that I have seen a lot of claims on what the blockchain can be used for, but none of them are being fulfilled at all. I have seen and heard a lot of things, but this one of election is what I’m just seeing today. I don’t know how that works or how exactly Blockchain is going to help to curb election rigging. The way it is built, that seems impossible to me, but I will do some research though.

In case of Bitcoin. Of course, I agree.
What about ETH? I agree too.

But, have a look at the others on the market. I don't even know why should people use their service. There is no real use in real life.

An ad management system on blockchain? - We already had Google Ads & Facebook Ads.
A social network on blockchain? (steem) - Do we? I don't see anything but a centralized forum hosted on a random hosting using its currency to pay for the writers.

I don't think you understand the blockchain technology correctly. In the future, not only crypto markets but even also the government is going to use this technology.

Yes we do. Blockchain technology is about to reach into areas beyond the digital currency movement and as such will be affecting everything from real estate to entertainment as startups increasingly integrate blockchain into their business models. You can use cryptocurrencies in whatever you want but what we do not know is how effective those solutions are going to be compared to centralized solutions and if it is worth to change the way you do things now and to adopt a completely new approach with the blockchain, in the case of bitcoin the blockchain is key because without it governments could have seized the servers where the database was stored and destroyed bitcoin that way but since each full node has a copy of the blockchain and there are thousands of them they cannot do that.

With every new change in technology, we will see these kind of people who try to make money from the new change and the people who invest in those must have a clue on what they are really up to, but still they wanted to invest thinking they will make a huge return and nothing else. Some learn the hard way and some get lucky by earning huge returns.

Well, I really agree with the statement. Indeed, there's no safe when it comes internet there's a prone of hacking. Hackers now are smartest than us they have different strategies on how to fool people. And here we come the blockchain technology which is can contribute to protecting you as long as you know how to keep private key on your wallet and saving back up seed phrase. And it is also traceable from possible hacking because of transparency transaction and it is documented in the blockchain.
