Do we need blockchain technology?

Hello everyone.

When I see there are too many ICO and shitcoins on novaexchange. I keep asking myself: do we really need blockchain technology?

In case of Bitcoin. Of course, I agree.
What about ETH? I agree too.

But, have a look at the others on the market. I don't even know why should people use their service. There is no real use in real life.

An ad management system on blockchain? - We already had Google Ads & Facebook Ads.
A social network on blockchain? (steem) - Do we? I don't see anything but a centralized forum hosted on a random hosting using its currency to pay for the writers.

There are too many projects  that we don't really need it on blockchain.

Sometimes, I think there is a black swan (Blockchain is useless in real life) lurking around.

Out of all use case blockchain technology have you sited steem there are many project that has launched it's product on blockchain and have proven useful to real life use case blockchain transaction can't be erased it can be use to reduce corruption is some country also.
Blockchian can be used to conduct a good and credible election anywhere in the world, i will enjoy you to see a lot of possibilities which blockchain technology possess that is just few use case i stated above.

Simply we could say we need. But this will not be possible in next maybe 10-20 years. Current monetary system will not allow it more important banks wont allow it to be used commercially. If this comes to some solution that would be good for both sides then it will be possible to reconsider something.

Not necessarily we need it but hence blockchain technology is a part of the development and new discoveries, there is no way to escaped this in fact, it made us more productive and have a favorable life. Besides, our life seems to be easy using this one and this technology will be appreciated by anyone who used this.

There were some private companies that already adopted the technology.
Companies that are looking for this kind of tech can easily adopt it. When they can't just trust their employees but they can trust the system that they are using like blockchain. As for those companies that are still skeptic about it, they can lurk around and wait for those companies to give feedback on how it's very convenient and effective to their businesses.

are big brand tech companies developing projects on Blockchains.

Unlike our current transactions, we rely on third-party users for their trusts to keep our moneys safe or for the information that they claim to be true. When we apply the blockchain, it eliminates the need for any third-party users to handle our transactions since all history of payments would be reflected in a public ledger accessible to everyone. What is the relevance? All information about the history of its transactions can be seen and no one could ever tamper or change the information.

From this standpoint alone, the blockchain technology has unlimited potential for transactions and it we may expect it to be used in the far future.

  Wow I was not aware of all this, indeed blockchain has become well developed and people have adopted it for multi reasons but the whole things is that it is good in all ways, blockchain saves our coin and it is reliable to use anytime anywhere, it is like filter to avoid bad and scamming projects, some companies use it for salary transformation and money sending all over the world.

We really don't know if it works smoothly cause as far as we knew, blockchain technology is used only for money transfers but having it used for woting system I'll be in doubts.

For me, blockchain's a safe, transparent, fast and efficient technology, besides that the blockchain's the technology that is the basis for creating cryptocurrency, as well as the leading prototype that will be widely adopted by banks and companies in the future. Now, maybe most countries are still shy about using it and looking at the blockchain with only one eye because their wishes will collide with their egos, especially about their strict prohibitions on bitcoin. But we know, now there are government-owned agencies engaged in correspondence such as post offices, recently making a blockchain based application that will facilitate all activities within the company.

Why having the doubts? Blockchain tech can be applied into this field and it is much more way better than on the current system as of now when it comes to voting system.

A lot of new things and changes happens when blockchain technology came out, when it comes into transparency, definitely it have. But somehow people won't understand this new technology and even giving some negatives for the result. I know it is a big test for us and not forcing everyone also to adopt the system  but instead we have a given a time to realize and appreciate its purpose.

For me, yes. We need blockchain technology. For being the one that the entire Bitcoin network relies it is indeed very important. More than that, all of our Bitcoin wallets is there to calculate their spendable balance so that new transactions can be verified thereby ensuring they're actually owned by the spender. Nowadays, a lots of businesses are starting to adopt blockchain systems more and more because it makes transactions faster, cheaper, and more efficient. I don't think you understand the blockchain technology correctly. In the future, not only crypto markets but even also the government is going to use this technology.
