Smiley Smiley Any invest in ICO take risk, especially if this doesn´t supported or not have time at the market. I meet people who invested more than 5 BTC in new ICO project and loss their investments, I know is a difficult to talk about it, because it´s about our own investment. This day i look for good new ICOs projects (previous analysis of each one) and decided to invest in these, I would like to have a reference about how much money normally your invest in a new project?  Cool Cool

In ICO and indeed in any project or activity you need to invest as much as in the case of force majeure is not critical to lose

we know that ICO is an investment with a high level of risk and take many time to get profit, so my advice is do not invest all of the money you have maybe only 30-40%. this is to ensure if in the future the ICO can not generate profits you will not be stressed because of thinking about bill fees

Depending on the level of trust in the ICO project, if I am not so sure, maybe I will invest only 1 ETH, but if I feel confident about the development, team and activeness of the members, then of course I will invest more, but for now it's very rarely projects that can be trusted, too many ICOs and too many scammers

In all honesty it will depend on how much you have and how much you are willing to lose, because you said it your self that in investing there are risk and that is true in any kind of investment and if you are not willing to lose money then do not invest in anything at all. Also for ICOs it will depend on their minimum requirement for investing as there are ICOs that would require a minimum of 10 ETH to invest.

I think if it is your first time buy ICO for invesment i would i advise to buy not to much maybe 1ETH and if this ICO maybe doesnot succesfull you can do research again and because now if ICO success their DEV still not have any exchanger to listing or does not have plan to keep their price grow up but always dump.

You invest as you would in anything else-as much as you can afford to lose, and don't put all of your eggs in one basket. Read the whitepapers and roadmaps, make sure there are people with skin in the game that need this to work, and make sure they're solving a problem that needs to be solved on a reasonable timeline.

Due to the current market situation, it stopped investing at all. Last year, the projects still somehow developed and made efforts to promote their ideas. Now the situation is such that even with the purchase on the pre-sale under -80, investors do not always go even to 0!

In my opinion for now you shouldnt invest icos because too many icos are now under their ico price. You can buy some altcoins with that money but now for icos very risky time.
Generally it is up to ico's quality. For example i can invest 100 dollar - 5k dollar to icos. But quality is really important factor when investing in icos also market's general situation is important also

if I invest in an ICO, there have never been many, maybe just one ETH or more, because this is to anticipate the fear of ICO being a scam.
because for now there is much a widespread scam of ICO-ICO. it's just our foresight in choosing an ICO that is really good and real.

Early days investing any amount to ICOs are worth it but things changed, numbers of scammers has increased and projects became a joke.

If I'll ever invest to a new ICO, probably never but as long as they have a working product that can change my mind.

I’m probably too skeptical about all this, but I can tell you that you don’t need to transfer money to new projects on this cryptocurrency market because in 99% of cases you will lose them

That depends on the project itself but if i found a project which has gained a big investors just like co founder of ripple and i will try to invest more than 10k just expect that to be doubled after exchange listing and i will try to leave from the market. It's so simple for me personally.

It depends on the ICO but I do not invest more than I can afford to lose and I spread my funds around into
different projects. Usually I invest 5 ETH and max 10 ETH in projects I am extra confident.

this depends on how much money is ready to lose if the project is not exactly what we expected. And every ICO project also has a minimum purchase.
