I get over 100000 on i5-2500K, maybe your compiler is bad?
But the code can be optimized, too, maybe 2-3x speedup.

i didn't do anything yet coz i don't know if cpu can be overclock or what. i just tick the mine heavycoins box and then that's it. anything that should i do to increase my hash?

how will i know the hash rate of my wallet miner?

is it good or very low? is there anyway that i can increase that? i'm using an i7 4770k


I have Core i7 4770K and getting 91200 hashrate (overclocked to 4,4Ghz per core)

EDIT: and try compiling with gcc -O3 -march=native ..
But sometimes -O1 or -O2 is faster Smiley

2 days to get a block...!  Embarrassed
I use i5-3570K overcloked to 4.2Ghz  Huh

how do you know how long it will take you to find a block?

Can be calculated from hash rate and difficulty.

is there a link to somewhere I can work that out? im getting approx 350000hashespersec on my main pc. Thanks
