Why pay to vote when its on two exchanges already, those voting systems are just to scam more money out of the users.

Yeah, since solomining at this point is nigh impossible, I have minerd preconfigured with one of the pools and retrying every 30 seconds. When they eventually turn it up I should be good to go.

If stratum ever arrives, lol.

IPO holders spam 512 so they have more value for investment.

waltsmith

512?!?!?   I have it set to 1!!!    Grin

I did the same.  Cheesy

Set it at 1 too and still nothing. I hope somebody forks it and releases a fair coin.

HBKPdZgYTYHhiX6Py3uA6bmA7cLgqVNTgb if anybody pities me.

Umm voting for the block reward at 1 reduces the amount of coins (solo) miners get per block (if other voters don't vote for a higher block reward). It doesn't reduce the difficulty (which is now at 15.38058725).

So its useless then.

Enjoying my 0 coins Roll Eyes

Just wait until the minerd is released and then join a pool. Solo mining is only for the big guys with many cores.

Well if they're selling for low then its time to buy and sell later when it's high

looks like some buyers are filtering in now @ www.cryptoaltex.com

yeah i'm one of them
lol

I was watching this coin because it had something new and innovative, the best sign of a good new coin. HOWEVER, thats not the only ingredient.
You also need honest support from DEVs, strong selfless community that is mainly interested in what is good for the coin and not just their portfolio, etc, etc.
1 outta 3 aint bad right? Unless you are Meatloaf with a hit song then yeah, it's bad.

CHECKLIST

new, innovative algo, and block reward system CHECK
crappy launch of supporting software for an equitable distribution of coin. XXXXX
IPO's trying to buy their own coin a ridiculously high price for a quick dump. XXXXX
tons of newbs still mining to support said dump with additional diff of coin XXXXX

a coin that will soon be trading a 1 to 2 satoshi like thepandacoin = priceless

can someone confirm this ?!?!?

Code:
[2014-03-08 19:05:04] JSON hex2bin(00040000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000002, 4) failed
[2014-03-08 19:05:04] JSON inval maxvote

EDIT:
param '4' to hex2bin means four bytes are written from hex-string
00040000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000002 (68 chars)
so that would be 8 hex-chars.  There's still 60 chars left when buffer (work->maxvote (uint32_t)) is full.

a patch to fix copy&paste bug (string "inval target" was used twice).
Still a fix is needed for heavycoin-qt..

me 2 !

ok,,, so im confused. if you hit a block would you like to be rewarded 1 coin? or 2?

waltsmith

No. you are voting on what the blocks of coin will be in the future. Right now it is around 700 but if you set yours to 1, it will vote for 1 coin per block which means you have a better chance of mining the coin. IT DOES NOT MEAN YOU VOTE FOR HOW MANY COINS YOU GET. YOU NEED TO SET YOUR VOTE TO THE LOWEST NUMBER (1) IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A CHANCE OF FINDING A BLOCK.

lying to the newbs this way in order to line your own pockets is the purest form of capitalism! Kudos to you my friend!! Wink
