do you have minerd compiled on windows version?

No.  I got rid of Windows on my machines in 1999.

That was stupid

-P for what?

I'm using wallet in one pc with windows and then starting cpuminer compiled on my linux server with this:

 ./minerd -a heavy -o http://mywindowspcip:7202 -u myusername -p mypwd -v 1024

What's wrong with this?

That's okay.  minerd:
  -P, --protocol-dump   verbose dump of protocol-level activities

can be useful in debugging errors.

someone is using cpuminer-heavycoin to mine?

I'm trying to use it, but it returns HTTP request failed: The requested URL returned error: 401

The ip is right and rpcport is 7202

Similar problem, this is what I'm getting when trying to solo in an ubuntu droplet:

Code:
[2014-03-08 13:07:27] HTTP request failed: The requested URL returned error: 500 Internal Server Error
[2014-03-08 13:07:27] json_rpc_call failed, retry after 30 seconds

Tutorial on how to compile cpuminer would be sweet

Tutorial making a B class porn video is what the developer is doing atm

Hopefully the pools will be working soon because right now solo mining looks impossible. Sad

devs any news when the prodecdure 2 guys will get their ipo coins?

thanks

We've got quite a few (actually probably 100+ pending tasks), so expect them to be distributed over the new few days, as we catch up.

from the ipo

"Heavycoin IPO investors will be paid their HVC stakes instantly the moment the Heavycoin genesis block is released on March 8th, as soon as the network is launched and mining starts. There will be no lengthy waiting period nor will there be a manual, error-prone disbursement of funds. It will be an automatic process leveraging the genesis block. Investors who want to take part in the IPO must follow one of the two official IPO procedures below."

I hope you were only kidding in your previous post that we have to wait a few days.

I asked for my coins more than once and haven't received any response from the dev.
