Anyone know how long usually it takes for ICO projects to list their tokens on an exchange? Is it different with other exchanges?

I am personally participant to ICO
Almost eight months ago
Not yet listed in the exchanges

They are waiting for the market to improve Grin

Because the bearish trend will press these holders to save their money to the stable form just like tether or even TUSD. But there was no ETA about when the market will be getting another bullish trend again and it looks so difficult for me personally dude. Just curious to know what will be happening next year.

This is different from any existing ICO and certainly, it could not be ascertained. When entering the Exchange is not necessarily able to quick time. some of the big ICO has indeed determined their Exchange since the beginning and it didn't take long to get on the list. but a lot of that had to take several months due to various problems and it's not a good thing because it was too long.

Honestly , I don't have any ideas of how long will it takes for an ICO to be listed on crypto exchange/s. If I want to know when they will listed in their roadmap or timeline. Most ICO's roadmap have the date of their exchanges and it is important for them to have a noticed of listing date so that the token holders will be aware of it.

I believe that depends on the team and the exchange itself.
If the team plan to listed the coin/token into a non well known exchange that could be fast.
But on a well known exchange that could takes more time to get listed.

yes, most exchanges charge for that and it's not cheap. A good thing about stellar is their own exchange, no one needs to wait, I wish we could trade eth tokens like that. There are some dex for eth but the network fees and the minimum trade values are higher.

I also don't have any Idea of how long will it take to get listed in any exchange but what I experience in participating some campaigns they listed their currency in some exchange almost a week after they ended their running campaigns and I think it won't took so long unlike some other Currency that took almost a months and it is really disappointing to all of their investors.

All depends from dev and the team how well they handle the project. There are some project that are a matter of weeks already listing and also up to several months and even ended up a scam. A lot of the dev assume ico raised fund is the main reason of the ico difficult for listing on the exhanger but a few months ago I know a fact that some exchangers even do free listing coin with the main factors of coin should have the good project.

before the detail of the listing use to be well spelt out in the roadmap or even in whitepaper but todays things have change many ICO keep on modifying their roadmap probably due to low sales so generally token listing is always delay. Also due to the fact that generally most token get dump when listed on exchange many ICO specifically concentrate on building and developing a product that is marketable before listing on exchange

It also depends on what kind of stock exchange, for example, Binance has tough requirements. And not all coins and tokens can even get there for money.

My first project campaign got listed in less than two months. The following projects got listed a bit longer. My friend's token got listed after over a year! So there is really no definite time as to when listings are made. Probably it would also have something to do with market conditions and also legalities. It's very important to be patient in waiting.

ICO's listing in exchanges often times go in line with roadmap of the project, some projects follow strictly their roadmap while others don't. But often times projects start trading first on decentralized exchanges before its official launch on main exchange

Depends on the project some are fast and some are quite long. For now the average project can wait around 2-3 months after their new ICO conducts listings on the exchange.

now it is indeed very long, the ICO project to register in the market because maybe the market is getting worse, which is feared that the coins or their tokens are down

in general it runs long enough. usually dev says that they will test the technology they have developed first before the token is actually launched on the market exchange. so that is a natural thing, be patient.

I know some tokens which was listed asap to top exchanges. Almost right after ICO. And some which didnt list nowhere. This depends of project and team. If they are ready to pay for listing and if their project interesting for exchanges - this will be listed asap.

In this bear market, I've heard that it's possible to list on decent exchanges with a few bitcoins or free for projects with legitimate token utility. Does anyone know which decent exchanges are these?

Each project has its own roadmap. They will have specific plans for tokens sales and listing. The time for each project is different. The latest official developments need timely attention.

I have 82 completely useless tokens sitting in my wallet, so many ICOS either scam or don't want to pay for an exchange listing, so now only a few good projects every reach exchanges, which is really sad because in 2017 all the projects I was involved in all reached an exchange. Now it's like playing the lottery to have an ICO reach an exchange and for you to even think about making a profit. The days of ICO flipping are over and only those in private sales with big pockets and insider knowledge or those who head pump and dump groups, win in this game now. Nowadays it's way too risky to play in ICOS.

If the ICO was conducted on the Ethereum platform, then, literally, immediately after receiving the coins to the wallet, they appear on decentralized exchanges. Except when the coins are locked and cannot be moved.
