There's any correlation about that and CosmosCR ? WHo stole the name to whom? Jokes aside, is it really a coincedence? It's too much to be a coincidence

Hehe, nice match, but i would expect VR sets to get cheaper soon not more expensive. This thing will probably cost more than 600 $ which is the price of a decent PC and i wouldnt even consider paying that much for VR glasses. Hope there will be some quality and affordable sets in he future.

Well yea its not cheap the progress is slow but steady, cool feature it works on the PC and Mobile, so you can take it everywhere, no needed sensors.
They say the Cosmos will have the best resolution in their line so far means this will be better than the Vive pro ($1200)

Yea i remember the old days with Simcity ,Rollercoaster Tycoon, Anno 1902 and Age of Empires. I dont play a lot games anymore, cause i have almost no free time  Cool.
Spended hours building stuff to just start all over again.

OMG if you have played Simcity you must be almost my age. That is the last game I've ever played with, one life ago  Smiley Would be great to have features or bubbles of reality or sub-worlds which would function as games as addictive as Simcity inside the CosmosCR virtual world. Meta-virtual worlds withing a virtual world.

If you've played Entropia Universe then I'm sure you would appreciate the immense potential of what VR could offer to improve our lives. Imho.

Indeed a very fitting name  Grin

Maybe you could make a competition for one of these HTC Vive Cosmos, where everyone who invests a certain amount of money in your ICO has the chance to win such a headset (assuming there are no legal issues that would argue against such a lottery). I think this would be a nice idea and also another great incentive to invest in your project.

Hi everyone,

We got some great news! We finally have announced the ICO!

https://medium.com/cosmoscr/ico-announcement-af0a43b05f92

We will start 4th of February and the ICO will take a total of 2 months, with great investors bonus and an Affiliate program.

I felt like this announce was coming Smiley I asked and a day later announcement.

Great news also 2 months is a accaptable period. Hope you best of luck

Yea and the patience people are rewarded fairly for this.

We added a bonus that is really interresting. For every 5 Eth investment you get a free land parcel. So lets say someone invest 20 Eth he will get 4 free land titels.
The land titels will have a prime location cause they will be distributed to the ICO particpants before the public sale start (yea we reward our ICO investors).

Now lets compare that another project like decentraland their cheapest land parcels (outskirts) are 10k tokens atm. And their prime locations cost between 100k to millions of tokens.
price per token = 0.04$ atm (yea bitcoin dropped again *sigh*)

Their prime locations for land parcels are (100k*0,04$) approx 4000$ each (cheapest). Thats a little more then 30 eth at (130$ each). And they have 100k land parcels, Cosmos will start with 50k!

This shows the potential we rewarding the prime locations to our contributors. But this is just the bonus the value they get is inside the Tokens ofcourse.

Actually this numbers look really amazing. But the problem is you are comparing with decentraland and become like it is not that easy. But still, it seems like a good opportunity.

WOW, I just thought the Gear would need a patent, but is the name just a coincidence? Pleasant, by the way. I hope to be able to hold something like this soon, beautiful design, flexible, eager to attest to the quality

Well yea its not cheap the progress is slow but steady, cool feature it works on the PC and Mobile, so you can take it everywhere, no needed sensors.

The Vive Cosmos combines PC and mobile support? That would blow away Oculus.

See, the Oculus Quest and Go are strictly mobile. For PC VR you would be stuck with 2016's Oculus Rift CV1, which has a low resolution. If you wanted a higher resolution PC VR headset you would have to get the more expensive Vive Pro or a Pimax. And if you want to walk around untethered you would have to buy a Quest or Go in addition, or get a WiFi adapter while missing out on the ease of use of those mobile VR headsets. Ideally you want a headset that allows you to tether to PC for the most demanding experiences while also giving the option to go cordless with mobile content.

But here I read Vive Cosmos is not a standalone device, it just has inside-out tracking: https://uploadvr.com/vive-cosmos-tethered-standalone-quest/

There could be the risk they will come after this project because of the name since they both fall within vr? You never know with this big companies.

I highly doubt that they could get a partnership with HTC but they can maybe get some agreement to sell this headset on their platform, there will be a lot of users who will need VR set and why not use this opportunity.

Maybe it could happen in the future so that if they could deliver this platform asap, then they could offer a value proposition to HTC to consider any kind of partnership. Imho.

We will def. look what is possible with this, but our first main focus is reaching the minimum cap and after Partnerships and Deadlines.

I'm not worried about partnerships, there are a lot project searching for mutual benefits in cryptocurrency. On the outside we want our product to speak for it (ofcourse we will have a marketing team showing people).

I agree, making partnership with companies like HTC is nearly impossible at this point. Also selling headsets, don't think that would be a good idea.
