Since your coin is exclusively for the cpu miners and for the solo miner, will it be available in the future to mine it with my GPU?

Quite unlikely. The algorithm's mostly sequential, contrary to the parallel nature of GPUs. CPUs are generally faster than GPUs when it comes to sequential tasks (look at single core performance). And as another nail in the coffin - The algorithm uses recursion, which is impractical for GPUs

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

What I like in the project is the fact cpu mining is lot of fun and anybody can mine without big invesment.

It is very low cpu usage, everyone is limited to 1 core per wallet address, giving fair chance to anyone to get block.

I like the fact the dev knows his stuff and don't let any questions unanswered.

I am used to nice GUI interface, but with dev & discord mod help, that was easy to start mining.

It is very fustrating coin, because you don't have a block all hours, but it is more a block all 5 days, could be shorter or longer, so patience is needed.

I am doing great, I found coins on a regular basis.

Good luck with the project !

Unprll project is what i was searching for : decentralized fair low energy mining with no cost. Add it the monero fork and all privacy coins stuff, ULL is for me something strong. No premine, no ICO, a really nice dev involved in his project answering all question and acting fast. The CPU mining algorithm is something huge. The whitepaper is showing reality with good/bad points. No lie, no backstab plays, integrity and respect of the community at the highest level. This is something I want to involve in, with pleasure.

Pardon my ignorance but how do you stop people from mining with multiple cpus/threads/vms to different wallets?

Hi sedou, here is ctobias answer :
"It's not possible to defend against that because to the protocol, those wallets are indeed different miners and not the same person. However with a high enough hash rate, multiple wallets doesn't really give users much of an advantage over others"
Have a good day !

Merry Christmas to all happy lucky miners, and the others !
It has been a great month for me discovering this crypto. C.tobias is doing a good job and working hard on the project. He is always there to help miners, respond everyone question and even arbitrate discord trade of ULL by himself. Transactions goes faster than when I started to mine due to hard work and permanently searching for solutions to problems. Everything is stable for now.
I'm sure ULL is a good privacy coin and his CPU mining is the fairest you'll ever see. I'll keep mining it all the next year to come.

while compiling on ubuntu 16.04 i am getting this error

error: ‘PER_KB_FEE_QUANTIZATION_DECIMALS’ was not declared in this scope

I have fixed it now, run
Code:
git pull
and try building again. The other option is to use
Code:
make release
instead Smiley
